After resetting my password numerous times and reattempting to login, i've been met with no success. I've even logged out and re logged but for some reason my Vault keeps telling me my password is incorrect. Any ideas on how to get this fixed ?

I guess pm'ng one of the Lock mods is the next step?

Stupid question. Is the vault you are talking about the same thing as your player admin?

No, the two are different. The vault is accessed by clicking 'STATS' in the client or going to http://admin.lockpoker.eu and logging in, then is along the top nav. If you don't have/see a vault, you can e-mail support to get one set up for you.

Stupid question: I never bothered setting up or checking my vault, and just found out I had almost 1K there. Where that money comes from? Rakeback? Bonuses?

That's where all your cash back is put daily, so that is most likely it. There is a transaction history there though, which you should be able to view and should give more detail.
