I for one am going to play less or switch sites. I can get resonable high up the Ronin levels but it is just by playing a ton mostly on the weekends. I'm at work right now, typing this on a cell phone. And the "play a lot on the weekends" model probably is very common. By the time the first weekend of this month comes around, level 1-10 could possibly be closed out because of the limited rewards. The woot woot play Lock because of Ronin takes a hit with limited rewards.

That is Lock fail big time.

I just don't see how it's a big time fail, people can't calculate for **** tbh. Say you're SilverVIP, you're getting 25% RB flat, 10% from points conversion, and 40% from deposit bonus code, that's 75% rakeback right there if you reach 0 Ronin levels ever. I can't think of one site that offers 75% RB this easily (maybe for the very top rakers only on other sites). You could still be hitting Ronin levels maybe for more return if you're a decent volume player, there's Lock Lotto aswell if you do rake those amounts anyways. Not to mention that you pay less rake to start with compared to Merge for example.

Do some math people, seriously. Complain about their customer support, sure, but don't complain about Ronin cashback, because honestly, it's quite stupid. It's just the difference between the very best rakeback deal you could ever find anywhere (without Ronin) and insane "get paid to play, rather than pay to play, where the **** do you find that?!" (with Ronin)

i dont think ronin was designed to attract randos/weekend warriors.

with site just opening they probably wanted to bring over all the high volume players who sustain the everyday traffic of the site.

their traffic improves, and their only true competitor loses a lot of traffic those months (they probably didnt expect to have ronin 3 months straight tho).

other medium volume players see the traffic drop in competitor and increase in lock, and they switch over too.

when they get to promotions that attract randos? just throw a tournament series in when traffic is good.

McC, oh there is plenty to complain about Lock besides CS. Furthermore, you seem to be having it both ways. One moment you are saying that Ronin in the old form of over 100% couldn't go on for ever, but then you "pad your numbers by saying 40% for deposit bonuses. Guess what that 40% can't go on forever either. So step up to reality and don't pat yourself on the back too hard saying how awesome the rate of return is at Lock. This month the pulled back hard on Ronin, next month it might be deposit bonuses. And if we are talking about Revolution era Lock then Ronin in the old form didn't even last very long.

Complain about it then, i just don't see how anyone can complain about anything cashback related when EVERYONE is getting AT LEAST 65% rakeback flat, which in itself is among the highest you'll find, but it's EASILY 75%, and if you're a BlackVIP or above player it's around and above 100%.

You won't see me crying if they cut deposit bonus to even half of what it is right now, it'll still be good value. Anything beyond cutting in half, and yeah, i'll start calculating and comparing a bit again to other sites (and i think i'll easily find out it's still best RB deal here if they do that)

It sucks big time. Why didn't Shane announce it here? We could all grind harder...

People wouldn't be mad if Ronin got implemented like this from the start (like it was advertised from the start aswell, or at least last month, but now they're enforcing the limited prize pool rather than it just saying so in the rules without enforcing)
