Lock/Shane - You should probably explain your promos better to your affiliates so they understand and are promoting them accurately. Here is what it said in an email newsletter I received from one affiliate:
Quote:
Lock Poker (Revolution) $1,000,000 Battle of the Ronin Rake Chase
4 players win the top level prize of $7,500, 2,900 cash prize winners, 35 levels
Bonus code: THEFUTURE
36% daily rakeback, 200% up to $4,000 new deposit bonus

Ummm, this is not accurate at all (referring to the second line there). There will not be 4 players winning the "top prize" of $7500. Nobody will actually achieve that level, obviously.
And it's a cumulative thing. If you get to the finish (LOL $66k rake paid in one month) you actually would win $45,142.
There will also not be 2900 cash-prize winners in this. If get to level 20 then I do not become 20 people/winners.
It is very deceptive. And kind of makes it look like it has less value than it really does.
Somebody at Lock sending this promo info to the affiliates did a bad job here. Or the affiliate trying to interpret it really screwed up and misunderstood.
I've seen that happen with affiliates before misinterpreting promos or VIP programs, etc. No biggie. Just letting you know that it was not explained well in one of the email newsletter thingees I received.
