Highly unprofessional imo and you can offer me as much RB as you want. As long as these things aren't fixed, I won't play another hand on Lock.
On a sidenote how can a business that offers like 100% RB (i had even more than that this month) for several months be sustainable in the long run? I can't imagine that they can subsidies their running costs through casino income while having a positive overall cash-flow...player funds have to be used for promos, marketing, running costs, whatever. And that would be more than just plain wrong! But thats just a sidenote and a wild guess and maybe someone with more insight can prove me wrong. However, this whole business becomes more and more obscure day by day imo

Very few players can get close to 100% rakeback. U have to generate several thousands of dollars in rake a month to take full advantage of ronin, deposit bonuses, etc. I think the vast majority of players have around 30-50%rakeback

From what I figure, that's not accurate. If you add in FPP to $, you can make pretty close to 100% RB considering RB, Ronin, FPP and Bonus. - Take bonus out, and yes, it's closer to 70-80%. Take Ronin out, and that drops as well.
What I'm saying is that you can currently make close to 100% RB with everything. Obviously that will diminish when you move up and no longer have bonus, but ATM, it's pretty fair, and far better than any other US-player site.

True, I had an error in my thinking there. Sincere Apologies! There might also be recreationals who stay at White Level etc...
Still the first part of my post remains as is...

Say you're SilverVIP (to take an average).
25% Daily Cashback
10% from points to $
Ronin is EASILY 20+% (it starts at 15% the very first level: 1.5$ for 10$ paid, and only goes up from there comparison wise, goes to ~40% later)
Deposit bonus is ~45%
Well, that's 100% right there - **** knows how they're making money, if you're a high raking player who gets a higher VIP level than this, you're getting 10% (a rare few 20%) extra, aswell as more than 20% back from Ronin.
So for high raking players up till 140% rakeback. (yes, that's being paid to play )

think about the thousands of players who know nothing about any promotions they are getting only the vip cash back . so they are making a killin off of these guys , not to mention they charge for withdrawls ( which im sure cost them nothing) and also they run a casino which im sure is always making them cash. I think they are doing fine by offering these promos..
Not to mentions tournys and SNGs yes your getting RB on these but your not taking all the profits

Re: AUGUST PROMOTIONS
i have a question of my own, im a rakeback player on the east coast of the US, I played all day yesterday and my pokertracker says i raked over 80$ which means i get 28-30$ in RB where is this money deposited? i had like a random 3$ deposited into my regular account and like 8 $ into my vault? I use raketherake for RB but i didnt get all my rakeback nor was it all sent to the right place.
Anyone else have this kinda issue?

Re: AUGUST PROMOTIONS
From the website:
Bonus will be paid out in increments of $5, for each 84 VIP points earned.
Points are earned at the following rates: Ring Games: $1 Rake = 1 VIP point, Tournaments: $1 Fee = 7 FPP.
I'm going to assume the Ring games means 1$ in table rake paid (average of ~7 players on a table is probably correct, that's why it's 7 times less than tourney fee, if not, i have no idea whtasoever why Tournament players would get 7 times more RB than cashgame players.
again: $5, for each 84 VIP points earned.
Tournaments: $1 Fee = 7 FPP.
if it'd be 5$ for 70 VIP points, it'd be 5$ for every 10$ in rake paid (= 50%), since it's not 70 points needed, but 84, it's some less than 50%.

Ronin isnt worth nearly as much as it seems if u dont rake thousands per month. Also deposit and reload bonuses still require u to generate tons of rake. I had $400 in bonuses and only got about $150 of it despite generating hundreds in rake

Re: AUGUST PROMOTIONS
It appears Lock is willing to take a loss the few months or even the first year to get their Network off the ground. But make no mistake about it, they are using our deposits to float this gamble.
The Ronon improvements thread I started had a lot of players going, "shhh I'm making about 100% RB, everything is fine". I don't want to see one of these players complaining about depositing thousands of dollar (to get awesome depsit bonus) if Lock goes under.
I guage the speed at which they are doing cashouts as a health checkup for the site. When the cashout delay increases, it tells me they are purposefully dragging their feet and holding on to OUR money for as long as possible to float the running of the poker site.
Lock Poker is definitely a risk/reward play right now. No where else are you going to get this high a RB %. But as many have pointed out the site therefore isn't making much money and possibly running in the red because over 100% RB is possible.

True but these players are not the ones that make Lock money.
No doubt, they will have to change something about it in the future.
