I flat out asked both a customer service rep and Shane (in one of the threads here) if WU was permanently removed or temporary. I was given the same answer both times, "WU has not been permanently removed and it will be back soon".

So I do not know this for a fact, it is just an assumption I am making based on the answers I received. That's all it can be taken for at this point.

Yes it's definitely coming back, no update with a timeframe yet.

Can you speculate on a timeframe? Are we talking a week? a month? a year?. Also, do you see cashout times improving in the future especially with row players currently taking 30+days to receive funds?

I for one think Lock has the best brand going, but these withdrawal issues do scare me. Thanks for any updates.

Shane I want to believe you, but a conversation with one of your rep's leads me to believe otherwise. I asked if I should process a check or wait for WU to come back. When I pressed further about the WU option if it was going to come back, she could not give me assurances that it would return in the future. I would expect everyone to be on the same page delivering the same message. However, when I get one answer here and another from support it makes me wonder who is driving the clown car. If lock would have simply stated it is going to shut down WU until the Oct backlog is processed then I think most reasonable players could understand the situation. However, when the story keeps changing and you can't seem to get a straight answer from management I think there is a reason to be concerned.

Ive had a good experience w customer service resolving my problems. I ve won 2 free 100k seats from the freeroll this month. The look is a lil jankey and payments def need to speed up but overall a thumbs up from me.

Have been given an update on WU, it will back in the cashier in the next 2 weeks.

Thank you Shane!!!! I will start grinding again I guess, but if it's not up in 2 weeks, snap trading at whatever ****ty vig I can get.

So WU is down for a month. How is lock prepared to handle the mass amounts of WU requests that will inevitably happen as a result?

Unless changes have been made, I see this going very badly. Worse than the past month

Will all of us still waiting for our delayed WU withdrawals be paid within the next 2 weeks before WU returns to the masses?

I'm very concerned about this also, they will be overloaded for sure with WU requests the minute it comes back. Hopefully they have done something in preparation for this, history would say otherwise though.

I don't get why people keep asking these processing questions that you know Shane can't answer unless he just gives some BS answer that no one wants to hear. I don't think Shane would even know the answer to this question and if he did there is no way he would ever tell us. Him giving us processing info on a public forums does no good for anyone besides you know who. All you have to do is put two and two together he told us that they are moving to a different cashier or updating it one of the two. I would think if they are going through all this work to do this it would help improve cash out times since that is the most important thing right now for US facing sites. And I don't think there are going to be as many cash outs as most people think. You have to think about all the people that have just sold their funds in the market place, cashed out with a check, and just ended up losing what they we're going to cash out while the WU option has been down.

Should we expect better results from the "new cashier" then the previous one?

Everything seems good on Lock. Rackback, customer support, point redemption etc.. But withdraws waits are ****ing horrid. Talk about a panic attack.
12-19-2012 , 09:34 PM
Withdraw waits suck, but I expect that.

The software is slow, so it makes it hard to multitable, at least on a Mac. Apparently, the software is better on a Windows. Debating getting a cheap laptop after Christmas to play on. Before, I liked the software better. For a Mac right now, it's pretty bad.

My feeling: beggars can't be choosers. I can't remember had any blatant errors in the system. Can't complain about that.

But I can play poker online in the US. Can't do that on other sites.

My problem is I used to like to multi-table 4-8 tournaments at once, and all would have several hundred people in them. Here, multi-tabling more than 3-4 at once is annoying, and if I do that, there's very limited tournament selection due to lack of players. But I can't complain about that given the circumstances of poker in this country.

Overall, I've been fairly happy with it, at least enough where I keep playing. At least that is when the software is working (which it isn't for Macs right now, which is VERY annoying)...

I'm a Mac user, too, which is one of the reasons I started playing on Lock to begin with. When they were on Merge their Mac platform was excellent; now it's not a true Mac platform at all.

Like you, I thought about buying a laptop PC, but I opted instead to buy Parallels so I could run Windows on all my Macs. It's cheaper than buying a whole new laptop and it's not so bad. In fact, one nice thing about running Lock on a Windows platform is that you can use the latest tracking/HUD software like PT4.

The software is pretty resource intensive so a cheap laptop might not be able to handle it. I'm not familiar with macs but the other poster's suggestion about parallels or something might be better than a cheap laptop. Lock runs great on my new windows laptop but not as great on my old one.

Hi all, I have decided I want to start playing on Lock (mainly because the games that I play on always seem to be running and I like the software)I want to get $1000 on the site (not my whole bankroll ofc) , and I was wondering if someone could guide me into getting the best deal possible.

1) Deposit through an affiliate, get a decent RB deal plus promotions, bonuses and possible free rolls.
2) Buy funds from someone through P2p transfer with decent vig.

What do ou guys recommend?

Sorry to be posting here, but I didn't want to start a new thread and get it deleted.

Edit: What's the average withdrawal period? I wouldn't mind it if it was 3-6 weeks and I don't need to be cashing out that often.

For anyone wanting Lock $$ there has never been a better time to buy from someone who just wants to get there money
12-24-2012 , 09:51 PM

How come?
12-25-2012 , 01:10 PM
^ Because Lock has always been horrible at paying people. Even if WU comes back it will take 8 weeks before you get the mtcn.

But yea there are a lot of games going on there all day from Russians and rest of world players also playing there. Just don't deposit anything you couldn't tolerate vanishing forever overnight.

Okay thanks !

Edit: yeah I just checked out the P2P transfer thread and Lock its going for .75-.8 vig. Interesting........
