Are there any speculations as to why cashouts on lock have been approved a month ago, but still no one has received a check? Or has this been answered?

Oh there is plenty of speculation.

In short, the answer is cuz Lock is broke and doesn't have any money nor do they have player funds because they, in fact, don't have segregated accounts.

This is the speculation though, and may not be the case at all. I sure hope this isn't the case.

Another thing a poster said that would make sense is that a payment processor screwed them over in the batch of checks from mid Oct-Early Nov. Which would explain why there is a backlog and that mid nov WU people received their money.

But, for now, no one really knows what is going on. I don't think Shane does either and if he does, he really isn't saying much.

Almost considered taking money off of carbon to put on lock :/ was looking to get more into mtts and see they have the steps to get into the 100k , which looked like a pretty simple way to satty into it weekly. Oh well, until wpn has a skin that is Mac compatible, will stick to carbon I guess..

I am not suggesting any specific sites, but if you look around the forums, you will find some other US-facing sites with very quick cashouts, growing fields, and mtt gtd's.

You wouldn't happen to be talking about WPN (ACR, Black Chip, True) , would you? I really would like to switch to this network, but I understand they aren't MAC compatible and the MTT schedule still kind of looks week at the moment, other than the weekly $50k.

In other cases the cashier is setup to automatically take down an option thats currently offline. For example if the processor has a server crash or is performing maintenance.

I heard from a pretty solid source that they are in the process of revamping the tourny schedule and it will be more like the one on Revolution when they are finished. But we hear so much bologne from these sites that we'll just have to wait and see

Curious as to what exactly this means and how it works. Or what exactly a Cashier even is. Is "cashier" interchangeable with "payment processor"?

The cashier is the page that you access that is the gateway to the payment processor.

Previously our cashier for both poker and casino was powered by our casino's cashier. This is out of the box software and we dont have a great level of control for customisation with it. We are in the process of building from scratch our own cashier for the poker side and which will give us more flexibility for adding new products and for customisation especially for things like cashout updates.

tottaly lost faith lock. as you can see the rep replies to standard issues. but when you pm about your situation, you just get ignored. a couple days is what ive been hearing for a cple months about my payout. beware of this site if your new. i dont wanna hear anyone say stop crying etc. this forum is called are you happy with lock poker? simple answer NO WAY. people are getting there cash that asked last week ive been waiting months. totally uncalled for and a poor buisness model. While I completely agree with everything you said and personally think LOCK has damaged themselves very much in the poker community.

The fact that people are getting paid is a good sign. Who knows what happened to the WU between mid Oct and early Nov. I know it is very frustrating to see people after you getting paid. That said, the fact people are getting paid should give you some confidence that you will see your money.

I went to the grocery store today and told them that I was "confident" that I will be paid by Lock, so can I please have some food? I don't understand why they said no.

Surprisingly, "confidence" hasn't been able to pay a single one of my bills.

Well, thats silly of course the gorcery store wouldn't give you food for your word of confidence. You should have gone to social services and applied for food stamps. Tell them when lock pays you that you don't need food stamps anymore.

Yea, I don't expect it to be accurate for at least an hour.

I was VERY happy with LockPoker until money mysteriously disappeared from my account and they felt the need to accuse me to being responsible even though the hand history and tendencies shown would show that I was CLEARLY hacked. I probably dropped over 1k last week into the site now I'm pretty much done unless this gets resolved.

I liked lock for awhile until I got robbed IMO. I was shot taking a $45 ST when I was disconnected from the client all other programs were fine. I get back on to see that I'm down to 10 chips. They said it was my fault the disconnection happened. If They refund my account that money I'll re deposit if need be. Until then I will not deposit again.

I have the same feeling. I'm done with them till I feel like they're going to make an effort to value the business of those who pour money into their company.

I believe 3 days is adequate enough time to give us an update of some kind. Give us something. Why is it gone? Why has it been gone for more than two weeks? Is it actually coming back and you know that for a fact, or is it simply an assumption you are making? What have you heard from whoever it is that you hear things from? I look forward to a hopefully positive response and update.
