There are plenty of deposit methods available, allowing you to be up and running quickly. The Lock Poker online poker site accepts credit cards and e-wallets, so you’ll be able to get your money into your account fast and easily.
Oh yes! Lock makes depositing as easy as counting the days since you requested your withdrawal from us (sorry, sundials not included). You can fast forward to our vast amount of tables and tourneys simply by loading up with one of many payment options (unless you're in that one particular country...can;t think of the name!). Oh - and pay no attention to that pesky "player-to-player" function in your account. Can you believe you can get the same amount of funds at roughly a third of its value? Of course you can't - who could?!?!?

YES! Pump up your payroll with our juicy (not Juicy Stakes...juicy...like fruit!) and tender (like steak...you know...food you could afford if we paid you your cashouts in a timely manner!) deposit bonus that no one in their right mind would ever offer EVER! Come take advantage of our "supposed" solvency issues as well as our insane VIP system and humongous guaranteed tournament overlays right this moment! Just don't win anything - unless you're willing to use that silly P2P transfer system...ahaha. Who would dream of doing that with our lightning quick payout setup anyway? Amiright?!?!

Although Lock Poker still has a developing player pool, there are games running around the clock at a wide variety of limits – although the emphasis is definitely on micro and low limit stakes. However, finding a game, especially at the weekends, is not difficult. The filter enables you to spot games fast and get into games with limits that you are comfortable playing in.

For those that might still be getting to grips with poker, Lock Poker features play money tables allowing you to experiment and try out your strategies before playing for real money. Lock Poker also allows you to learn new poker variations, such as Omaha or Badugi, and understand the new rules and playing styles that each poker variation requires. Once you have mastered these you can move into real money games.
Indeed!! Micro and low stakes are frothing at the mouth with players! Just take a look and...wait...what? (goes off to side, picks up phone) Um, what? Fair Play what?? Oh....okay then. **walks back to mic** WELLLL NOW!!! Be sure to grab hold to one of our great segregated tables that keep those pesky sharks away and let you learn how to enjoy and play the game you should have at least a passing knowledge of before you sat down in the first place. But why bother! Fair Play means you play against players at your own skill level. So become the master of your craft...that is, until you get too good, and then you'll have to do it all over again! Think of it as a challenge!

And if you're one of those pesky sharks...well, I'm sure you'll have a wide berth of tables to choose from as well! At the very least, you can enjoy doing other things while you waitlist and hopefully not get kicked off said list when operating other functions on your computer. We here at Lock give you opportunity to multi-task like no other company - we care about YOU!

And how! We've got so many players we can even keep up with it - literally! See, what we did was - and this is just between you and me, of course! - we opened up the floodgates to bring in as many disgruntled US players to the pool as we possibly could, completely disregarding any potential issues that might cause down the road thanks to those pesky US legislators! Our numbers skyrocketed! But because of this influx we were ill prepared to handle the vast amount of cashouts that flooded our system - which in turn resulted in our player pool diminishing to the point of some questioning our future ability to operate. Well...to that I say....HOLD'EM IS KING! Um...PLAY BADUGI! Did I mention our deposit and glorious rakeback specials???!?!? Uhh...just....GIVE US YOUR MONEY!!! (please?)

What makes Lock Poker particularly attractive is that, because it still has a growing player base, you will generally find less competition here. Thus your chances of winning one of the great prizes are even better than if you were playing at one of the larger sites.

Lock Poker features a great variety of Sit’N’Gos as well as MTTs, allowing you to get your tournament fix regardless of whether you are a SNG specialist or an MTT assassin. The Sit’N’Gos fill up reasonably quickly, so you are not wasting time waiting for the next game to begin.
Well, ah...um...hmmm. Even I can't spin that drivel. I have to...wait, hold on a sec. (knock on the door) Yes? Um...wait, wait DON'T! OUCH! Okay...OKAY!! (walks back to mic, speaks in whimper) yes sir, don't you forget it. lock poker is the bee's knees. filling up fast, tournaments galore...so come on down...*COUGH*.

I need a break...

ALRIGHTY!!!! Let's finish out strong with something that will really grab your attention! You see that jaded veterans line - of course we had no part in those pesky veterans feeling jaded about the status of online poker in today's world!!!! That's just spin that those pesky haters like to spew. You know...haters gonna hate! Our software does allow you to focus on playing and takes your mind off the fact that you have two choices should you prevail against the myraid of the dozens and dozens of people you'll be playing against: do I wait 5 months for a WU withdrawal, or take a 70% cut in my pay to get the funds now? At least our bonuses are unmatched - and that's the truth! Other supposedly "smarter" and "better ran" organizations stopped doing these promotions years ago when it proved to be unsustainable and causes more issues than it solved - well what do they know anyway!?!?!?!? And don't mind us changing our tournaments around every other week - so what the $100k GTD might be $50k GTD with double the buy-in next Sunday. It's just less players to have to mow through on your way to victory!

If you haven't got an account on Lock Poker, you are missing out! But not on a great opportunity...

Here's the truth:

Perpetuating falsehoods is just as bad as being the one creating the falsehood in the first place. "CC", despite not ranking Lock in its top 6 poker sites (Juicy is 6th with a 7.52 out of 10 rating, if that tells you something), is living in a fantasy world having this review remain as it is. Ignoring the real issues at hand and trying to direct more people to be subjected to having to navigate Lock's increasingly ridiculous policies, ineptitude, horrid customer service, and simple mismanagement of its resources puts "CC" in "lockstep" with Lock, and not in any good way. CC's members also apparently don't mind living in this alternate universe, being quick to defend their affiliation and ability to get cashouts processed more hurriedly than seemingly anyone else.

Bad form, CC. Even in the days when I used to defend Lock via my own limited experience with them, I never went this far. And I certainly wouldn't remain stoically behind them when overwhelming evidence was presented to me proving their misdeeds. By remaining affiliated with Lock, in its current form, you're actually doing a disservice to the poker playing community. If more people knew the facts, I think Lock wouldn't have much more of a leg to stand on. And that's what forums are supposed to do - be a place people can be made aware of things, both good and bad. But why bother looking when I can join CC and get my cashout sped up past those who've been waiting 2-3x as long as I have?

Guess I'll just go back to cataloging...hoping, beyond reason, that somehow, things will get better. For the players...because Lord knows they deserve it.

Like many poker sites, Cardschat is just putting the money first.

People supporting Juicy Stakes aren't much better, nor are people supporting Betonline.

At the end of the day, this won't change. What needs to change, is that users need to at least do google checks of sites they sign up to, no matter who recommends them (friend, poker site they had a good experience in the past with, poker pro, etc.).

If more people educated themselves, these poor poker rooms wouldn't be the most profitable choices for businesses to promote, because the sign up rates would be too low for the rest of the variables related to an affiliate's profit to matter.

Hard to do Google checks when affiliates dominate the first few pages for most relevant terms.

OP:

Lock is #4 for me on both pages:

cardschat.com/us-poker-sites.php (with a 22 days avg cashout)

and poker-site-reviews.php

I am in NV.

Someone on Twitter in the UK said they cannot even see Lock, even on the US page.

They are still ranking and actively promoting them. Their dishonestly might be somewhat forgivable had they not made up the blatant lie about cashout speeds. They also say Juicy Stakes is avg 21 days.

Do affiliates even make money? Aren't they too getting 33 cents on the dollar or ridiculous cashout times?
