9 weeks for cashout and still waiting 9 weeks for cashout and still waiting

05-31-2013 , 08:15 PM
I have waited 9 weeks today for Lock to process my cash out. I have messaged Shane two times asking him nicely to look into this for me and he has refused to answer. This is completely unacceptable and would like to know when my check will be sent.

You are not getting your check.

You have asked shane twice and he hasn't answered because there is no check on they way. Now that you have made it a little more public, he may come out with a response such as "I will notify the cashier" or 'Your check is part of a batch that will be sent out next week."

Unfortunetely there is no batch and there is no check, but listen to him if you want.

A number of people have been waiting 25-30 weeks lately for checks.

Dude, there's like 4 other cashout threads, AND an ask Shane thread. So unnecessary to start another.

I don't think it is. I don't have my money and nobody is letting me know when I will.

LOL. So much win!

I would suggest cancelling the check in favor of a WU withdrawal.... Checks have been ultra sketchy just in general for a while now.
06-01-2013 , 09:15 PM
Had a western union withdrawawl request in february. says approved but i can't get my stupid number thing from them at all. please tell me how Western Union is better
06-01-2013 , 09:34 PM
P2P transfer....getting 40 cents on the dollar is better than waiting months for WU or for a check that "might" clear.

Sucks, but that's where the current state of Lock is.

I disagree. I think every person should start their own individual thread related to their delayed cashout. After all, it is now June and we were told that all of this would be fixed by June. So in reality creating a thread about your own cashout problem shouldn't clog up the forum since all of this has been fixed now.
06-02-2013 , 01:45 PM
It was said that the cashout situation would get better in the "first week of June" which hasn't really started yet since it's Sunday today (aka weekend).

small print:
not that I'm expecting a sudden wave of cashouts coming in .. just saying.

How is it possible that Shane has not responded to this. Is 9 weeks + for a check standard? If so why do they claim 4-8 weeks? Does anyone else feel this should be answered? If I was about to put money on a site I can assure you if I knew it was 3-6 months for a check I would think twice about playing on a site.

You should read the recent pages of the 10 week cashout thread and repost your situation there. They should let you in early because 9 weeks is close enough and you're obviously mad enough.

There you can learn how many people are in your situation, and what you can expect in the weeks and maybe even months to come.

Yeah good luck, I've been waiting since 01/06 for a max Western Union/a check (I'm not sure which "line" they have me waiting on these days as it keeps changing between WU and check from their e-mails).

Somehow I'm sure you'll still get paid ahead of me though.

9 weeks lol, I've been waiting about 7 weeks and neither me or you have a right to even speak about it yet lol, lots of checks out there still waiting for 5 months LOL, if you didn't know thats 20 weeks and still waiting your not even half way there...

So I should wait 5 months before I say anything? I am sorry, but I don't agree with that thinking. In all reality it should not take longer than 2 weeks for a check to be delivered. It seems clear that they are holding our funds to wait for more funds to come in to pay us out.

I understand you are trying to help, but I am not concerned with how many people are in my situation. I'm concerned with the fact that I am nearly 10 weeks with out any notice of a check being sent. I think sitting around waiting for Lock to pay us while they are on the verge of going under is foolish.
I have the unfortunate experience of being on 2 sites that went under and never paid me. As soon as the cash outs started to take upwards of 3 months the companies suddenly vanished. There is no doubt in my mind Lock is trying to keep to company going. However once they hit a point in where they realize they will never be able to catch up on payments they will vanish with everyone's money. I am hope they find a solution, but anyone that doesn't think they could be less than a month from closing shop is fooling themselves.

Yes I was trying to help. And honestly I think you have plenty of reason to be concerned with the contents of the 10 week thread based on your above post. I thought you hadn't read the 10 week thread based on your OP, but I can see that some of it might have been sarcastic.

You are right to be frantic and not wait around, but I dunno about if you aren't interested in what's going on with other people in your situation.

1. Shane responds to very little...and when he does...it usually doesn't hold true.

2. 9 weeks would be a "fast" cashout at lock....checks to US customers are running 5-6 months and counting in some cases.

3. You should think twice about playing on lock...and you should probably cancel the cashout and try to sell your funds for 40 cents on the dollar in the transfer thread....but you won't do either.....after all....lock has rakeback and great promotions.

No,

They are not waiting for more funds to pay you out. They are waiting for more funds.

Not to sound blunt or rude but why on earth would you think that you should have to 'say' anything in order to get paid? Real companies don't work that way.

How long will you wait before you give up on this money? Some people haven't given up for 8 months.

Can you cancel the cashout?

If so, you might want to cancel it and sell your funds in the transfer thread.

40% > 0%

Checks are taking 5-6 months, you still have 3-4 months of waiting if you want to wait it out.

What the heck are you talking about?

There is no check coming for him if he were to wait 5 months. The only reason why players haven't been paid in months is because lock is stringing out their incoming deposits as long as possible before closure. Lock's withdrawal stage is over with.

Shame on you if you think waiting it out is an option for him.

I apologize for being brute in my previous post. But the OP came here asking a valid question unaware that lock is done paying its players, and to say that checks are taking 5-6 months is just giving him false hope that he may get paid by xmas.
