Hi, I won the 10k Main Event Final Winner on May 27. The tournament details say that the winner receives a 10K Main Event Prize package. I have not received any confirmation of what exactly that I have won. What exactly does the prize package consist of ? I have not received any emails back from support@lockpoker.com. I would like to know what is going on with this prize package and what exactly I have won?

LOL this is plain pathetic! Lock gives out a main event package and 3 weeks go by before telling him anything about it nor get back to him... of all the things that have happened since Revolution going live this has to be the saddest.

I think it's to the main event at wsop. Check the cake poker official site, it should be on there

i think i read somewhere that sites can no longer buy you in to the main event via wsop rules. more than likely they will just give you the cash value and some lock gear to wear.

This was actually a Merge network wide tournament, Ive got a hold of Merge and they said they put the funds into your account for this, Im just trying to get actual proof of this and more information now. Ive also sent an email to your registered email address so you have my full contact details.

Ive just spoken with the Merge guys again and we have come to realise you werent the player they were thinking of because the dates are wrong and this in fact was a Cake Network tournament on the 27th of May.

Lock was still on Merge then so it wasnt our tournament, however if you let me know which room you were playing with I can try and help you still.

Okay this time I have the answer 100%, you did win a package on Lock but it was on the 10th of June not the 27th of May.

We had just received the notification and the funds are in your account (hence me thinking you were already paid from Merge originally)

Thanks Shane. My fault about posting the wrong date. I just think this whole 10K prize package thing is misleading. When I think of winning a prize package I expected to receive 10K plus extra to pay for travel and accommodations. I mean that's what all the other poker sites are doing. Look at what Bovada is offering. "The site is offering a $12,000 prize package which comes with a buy-in worth $10,000. The remaining sum can be used for accommodation and travel. With the prize package, the winner will also get an invite to an exclusive party and get access to a high-end suite."
Why isn't Lock doing that?

Well, in fairness to the original poster, he will probably never actually get to spend that $10k for a WSOP event because it currently isnt possible to get any funds even 1/10th of that out of Lock (see every Lock Cashout thread on this forum). Good Luck trying to collect on all of that new money in your Account.
