I heard you might also work with angular a little here and there.

2) Google realized this mistake as it grew, so they are redoing it. Now all your Angular 1.0 apps are on a dead code base as they upgrade to 2.0. Ugh.

If you are in the early stages and want to whip something together fast, it's not bad. Just be ready to pay the Angular tax once you grow into anything complex.

I've been toying with React.js lately and like what I see. It seems like a good approach.

To add to the thread-

I'm mostly doing project management with some dabbling in C# ASP.NET MVC, mostly to keep relevant with the team I'm working with doing software consulting.
Cool, thanks

Luckily this project consists of many small things, so we should be able to use different technologies pretty easily and changeover shouldn't be too bad and can be done incrementally.

Let me know when you'd like to go to lunch

I'm a full stack web developer trying to transition into management. I work out of the marketing department of a tech company where we just throw **** at the wall to see what sticks.

I am in school. I do unrelated IT work.

Kind of have a new appreciation for those kids who work 40 hours a week at a **** job plus go to college full time.

It's not terribly difficult, but many of them manage to have social lives, which I shun.

Move all "Craggoo gets a job" posts to new thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...hread-1531099/

Please continue discussion there, very interesting stuff but quite the derail from "what do you do?"

Ruby on Rails, Python, Javascript, Angular, iOS, and Android for a same day delivery startup. Lots of cool stuff on my plate. Everything from designing and building new features to performance enhancements and routing optimizations.

I work for a company that traditionally has done business oriented web apps but is branching out into mobile dev.

I do full stack Microsoft web dev: MSSQL, ASP.NET MVC and pretty ad-hoc front ends. Gradually attempting to drag our front ends into the 21st century via Angular.

I did some iOS apps while I was playing poker from 2008-2010. But I did web development before that and since.

A lot of cool sounding tech jobs here!

In a previous life, I used to be a C++ developer working on some ancient software for a big energy company and hated every second of it. Now, apart from the occasional poker script, I am mostly a poker player.

I used to know at least half a dozen languages, two of which I knew really well: C and Python. Now, I can barely type in C and Python is just a type of snake.

Ever plan on going back to iOS apps? I have been working on iOS and would like to do that professionally at some point. Not for myself, but for a company.

Yeah I liked it. It would be really nice to work somewhere and mentor under someone who really knows what their doing - instead of self-taught google-fu like I was doing.
