I have a dual-monitor setup using a DVI splitter on a PCI-Express video card. I'd like to set up a 3rd monitor, but the PCI-e disables the onboard video card. I'm not using this for gaming, so what would be a cheap way to get a 3rd monitor up and running?
My motherboard only has one PCI-express slot, with the rest being standard PCIs. Can I just buy a cheap PCI video card and run the two cards together? (something like

Windows 7
Dell Optiplex 780 (standard issue dell pc)
ATI Radeon HD 3450 256mb (with DVI splitter)
This is for a work computer, so I don't care about running games. I'd like to make sure the option I choose doesn't result in some conflicts (like the PCI-e + onboard card is doing).
