Want to read about why exactly why the Vietnam War occurred, uninterested in anything about the soldiers and experiences, just it's reasons for inception and continuation. Thanks.

You probably need to look at the war of independence against the American-backed French colonists because the Americans just carried on from that.

This book is shaking everything up because it is the first thorough look at top decisions on the other side.
