I'd hope you'd go with someone a bit quicker on the trigger than Stauffenberg. While he was dedicated to going through with the plan once execution began (he was all-in so falling back was not an option anyway), he was part of a group that dithered for too long. I'd probably prefer to go meet Hindenburg in '32-33 instead or a group of General Staff officers in the '33-39 period if this is really your goal. By '44 the damage to Germany and the world was already wrought.

Generally any prominent historical figure that has a mysterious element is someone i would like to meet. Really hard to pin-point when there are sooo many interesting people throughout time. Been mentioned before but Shakespeare would definitely be interesting i've read a lot about the debate of his identity. Would have liked to have a night out on the town with Giacomo Casanova in his prime. Would have liked to interview, perhaps behind glass (not sure if he was dangerous), the Marquis de Sade.. he was a really sick ****er. Would like to know the identity of Jack the Ripper (def. not want to meet him though). I'd like to meet every single one of my ancestors although it might get repetitive, i'm from iceland and my ancestors are basically icelandic pretty much all the way back until norwegian refugees settled in the 9th century, but still would like to meet the people i descend from and what kind of human beings they were.

I'll probably update when i stumble accross anyone worth mentioning that hasn't been mentioned before, pretty interesting to meet anybody from the past to be honest
