Re: The Time machine - who do you want to meet?

I'd want to go back to see who really built the Great Pyramid or Baalbek or Tiahuanuco or any of the other impossibly humongous "megaliths"... or else to see the "vimana" flying machines as described in the Indian vedic texts... or else to peruse the supposed great Library at Alexandria to learn the truth about our history that's been intentionally hidden or intentionally lost thru the eons.

I'd also want to go back to the weeks before 9/11 and hide out in a WTC elevator shaft to see who was doing what inside there.

Conspiracy theorist, LDO. LOL whatever, it's my life, don't hate me bro.

Re: The Time machine - who do you want to meet?

1) George Washington: he is hands down the most famous person from the United States. i don't have any specific questions for wanting to meet him other than to say wassup.

2) Jesus Christ: I would want to see what he really had magic powers.

What about people from, say, the Upper Palaeolithic? They would be way more interesting than any named person itt imo. Proper humans. Despite all the electronic whizzbangs we've invented recently, I bet we could still learn a lot from them.

TT

I would love to have a conversation with either Samuel Clemens or Ben Franklin.

Epicurus. He founded a school of philosophy that lasted a few hundred years and wrote hundreds of works, of which only a few fragments remain.

Or Michel du Montaigne.
