I came across this channel while trying to figure out the reason or purpose for WW I, The Great War. The channel is called "The Great War" and it comes in English, Polish, and German languages I think. But what is unique about it is trying to follow the war on a weekly basis exactly 100 years prior. To date myself my grandfather fought in this war. More death occurs in one week than the entire Vietnam and all the Iraq/Afganistan wars combined (for the United States). Kind of a wake up call.

He took out a lot of life insurance, he also got a letter from the King of England (probably robo letter), and although he was a expert marksman, was assigned to recover equipment of conquered territory.
