Forced to go back in time to live your life, what period would you choose, and why? - Page 3

If I could be gauranteed to avoid the terror I would love to be about in the French revolution. Times would be mad exciting with the modern world pretty much changing with every decision.

Yeah, I could think of a few examples along these lines. The Cultural Revolution in China in the 60s, The Russian Revolution in 1917(18?), The Crusades. These would be fun for a few days, assuming I had some magical way of not getting killed, and then I would move on to the Roaring Twenties.

I seriously want to go back in time and beat Johnny Moss. I heard he played very tight and overvalued AKo.

I also want to learn how Puggy Pearson took total command of the tables that he was at. And I also want to see how Brunson and Hoff ran over the games.

mid to late 1700s, because I am reading Histoire de ma vie by Casanova and the way he writes and describes everything to such a detail that I am just absolutely fascinated by that time period, and it is considered pretty accurate.
Would want to go to that time period given a chance in a heartbeat.
