I'd like $10k additional action at the same price. PM me or post in thread if you are interested in a $6k-$500 piece (we're not booked until I clearly confirm via PM that we're booked).

I think this is a good gamble and a fair price --- I just want some additional motivation. My take is that I'm the money favorite; Patrik's take is that he's the money favorite.

Patrik played some college tennis in the US and was reportedly a top junior in Finland. He often works out twice a day. I was a fairly terrible junior tennis player, never breaking the top 50 in Florida in my age division and rarely breaking the top 100 (never finished the year in the top 100). I didn't play college tennis, and it's likely that my body fat percentage is above 20 percent.

Brandon
Brandon, looks to be in good shape but Antonius is more less pre-superhero.

I'd pay to see Antonius vs. Huckleberry that's be a match if it hasn't happened.

I was kinda surprised that Esfrandari could pull 50 push ups from a cold start on HSP. I know he's a health-nut but looks a little thin........off topic

Some developments (with more details later).....
-In college, I picked up chess for a time, but I haven't played much since. I was better than 1600 then, but I tried to play recently and I realized that you forget a ton. On my coaching site, we just signed a top ten chess guy (US) and I'll prob take lessons from him. The bet vs livb is looking dumb given what I know now. He's dead in tennis. Not looking good for me in chess or bball. Ping pong could go either way.
-Looks like Patrik and I will play in early June as planned; he's probably not going to buy out.
-Patrik and I additionally booked another bet which absolutely has to be terrible on his part. Red clay, Monaco, April 2012, he has to start every service game love-30. Obviously he has just no respect for my tennis game. Leo - to your point, I do believe that he believes that we are in completely different universes when it comes to athletic talent.

played any on the clay, BA?
05-24-2011 , 07:22 PM
I checked bodog and couldn't find the lines for Antonious
vS. Adams what gives? Speak of the which just watched the first round of Roland Garros sweet comeback by Nadal. Clay surface is going to favor the swift and athletic In either case any combination of tennis & Monaco is a dream. The F1 gran prix should be there in that time frame always wanted to go.

-Good luck
Any friendly wagers I'll take BA over Pat in tennis? odds?

Against the "Jew Bear" I ponder a beat, but fancy a wash.
H.O.R.S.E can be pulled off as say opposed to 1 +1 I think there's the leverage-

Patrik/long set of hair=beatable Patrik/shaved=superhuman

Difficult to say - Busquet's last USCF rating is 1302 which isn't that far above beginner. However, the rating is over 10 years old. If he hasn't continued playing, this is by no means insurmountable with a bit of dedication.

I tried religiously to find this but I recall Olivier in his first "Poker After Dark" interview with a sweet chess set sitting in his hotel room-

Brandon,

Are you still interested in making the sweep more money? It seems like you think that I have a slight advantage in a couple of events but that you have a lock in one - making your sweep more likely than mine...What do you think? 50k for sweep? Also did you get my message about Pokernews filming it? What do u think? I think it could be cool...

Yeah even money if op is in shape and trains.

Your Mom -- I play on clay about twice a week, but hard is a better surface for me.
ICall -- Pat starts his service games love-30. My service games are standard.

Olivier -- I'd rather not increase the sweep bet b/c my shoulder is becoming more and more of a problem. I might be on the underhand serve by then. Filming it is cool by me, though I'll be a laughingstock in bball HORSE for years into the future.

Dunno if you have hitting partner while you there, but I'm looking for someone to hit w couple times a week. If you want we can try hit one day and if you want to kill yourself can just find a diff partner.

I haven't played any for awhile and was never amazing...not really sure my USTA level atm. You're probably loads better but if you need someone hit w lemme know.

No buyout. Patrik and I are playing 2pm on June 12 at International Tennis Center. His injury is not bad. We hit today and he's playing very well. BA

TY abarber and dangerfish for hitting with me. It's cool to review my game or whatever. It doesn't matter now that buyout deadline has passed. I'll be out at International Tennis Center a lot this week. BA

Im actually really excited for this match. hope you guys are letting random spectators come.

Do any 5.0+ players want to hit this week (preferably weds or thurs)? I'm tjay10is on FTP/Stars and could use a break from the live grind. I played D1 tennis in 2006 and currently play on a 5.0 USTA team in the PNW.

Thanks!

Spectators are welcome. HoChee -- I can play you tomorrow at 12.30pm at International Tennis Center. Just confirm in the thread that you will be there. BA
