It is a statistical impossibility (read: incalculably small improbability) that there isn't at least some degree of truth to the allegations. As to the verification of 40putts also being stoxtrader himself, why not ask leatherass? He was part of that whole crew for a while and now he apparently hates them. He would probably know if that's him, and probably wouldn't hesitate to out him. The only drawback to this is that it would involve communicating with leatherass. That, and perhaps leatherass isn't the most credible guy around.

One has to wonder about games where mbolt, leatherass, 40putts, and kinetica were all sitting in. Rigged, I guess.

all, consider in particular why stox would like the alleged accuser to remain unnamed

Re: Possible cheating multi acounting

It's pretty strange how stox put so many graphs in his blog showing him playing a TON of hands and seeing that he originally played under the name stoxtrader (which any cursory search of online hands databases shows a relatively small amount of hands) and seeing the accusations he is facing all leading to the fact that he never multiaccounted.

Re: Possible cheating multi acounting

if matate and killer_ooooo are not the same person, then they have DEFINITELY 100% played on each others accounts.

i know i literally play them as if they were the same player and they do the same bizarre things against me
matate also plays on killer_ooooo's account. I know the same guy has played me HU on both accounts.

not sure about the krnaval guy but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

edit: ya basically what everyone else is saying.

Re: Possible cheating multi acounting

is it weird if when matate doubles up and leaves, the very second he leaves the table, _-krnaval-_ sits in the same seat? Just happened on a few tables in a row.

Re: Possible cheating multi acounting

There are online poker players who have used 2nd screenames for the purpose of deceiving others into giving them action, evading taxes, collusion, entering multiple times into the same tournament, ghosting, to obscure previous results and stats, to clear extra bonuses, to circumvent affiliate CPA or rakeback rules, to bypass the pokersites shortstack buy-in time limitation, to teamplay, to share action with others at the same table, to chip dump or otherwise engage in underhanded actions I do not know about. I have never done any of these things. Beyond that I cannot and will not comment on the screename issue, nor can I say why I cannot elaborate further other than to say that my reasons for that are serious and personal.

I have played a shortstack some of the time, I will do this when games are tough and I don't want to just not play, when there is a good game at a "shallow" table, in CAP NL games, or I think it's the most profitable strategy for that particular table. My poker results are shown over my last 650k hands or so in the HEM screenshot below, and they are sorted by stack size. A good percentage of the "under 50bbs" stack size games are from cap tables, where the buy-in is 30bbs. The rest are from 20-40 BB buy-in at "shallow" tables and a 20-50BB buyin at normal tables. The collusion allegation is laughable and completely false.

Re: Possible cheating multi acounting

So basically you are saying that you did not engage in any of those shady activities but you are neither confirming nor denying that you multi-accounted for purposes other than the ones you have mentioned?
