+1. Kudos to Bryce for actually responding to this mess in an intelligent fashion. Frankly, it's a little surprising that CR/Stox hasn't handled this better BEFORE NOW. Taylor has typically been pretty open and honest in response to criticism of his company - where are you sir?

Really? Did the poker coaching business end and noone tell me? Pretty sure ghosting happens every day and is still the standard tool for coaching.

+1 again. Didn't you guys learn anything from the Townsend deal? If he had immediately admitted wrongdoing and fallen on his sword, that fiasco would have ended much quicker and wouldn't be remembered the same way.

There is one school of thought on matters such as these that it's better to never go on the defensive and to never admit to wrongdoing, no matter what. Consider the entire presidency of George W. Bush, for instance. He might be totally correct to take this position. Once all the anger has subsided and people have vented their frustration, perhaps they will grow bored and this can all get quietly swept under the rug (just like the 40putts/kinetica thing did the first time around).

Hahaha, that's great.

Also, sad.. as it's a strange commentary on the game and the industry of "poker training" that has sprung up in the past few years.

Worked out well for Tiger Woods too. Stonewalling just whips the mob into a frenzy.

Re: Stoxtrader cheating/multi accounting discussion

Kind of funny that in that linked thread with the Kinetica evidence with a pretty serious allegation and quite a well thought out post Stinger writes dismissively:

Quote:
When I play 25/50 PLO 6max, Rsa87 is at my table most of the times I'm playing. Does that mean we're colluding or have some suspicious playing pattern?
Wonder if he knew who was playing either account at the time.

Mods are lightning quick on the delete + ban buttons in this thread. Good work mods, you're doing god's work here.

(I'm talking about the link to Viffer on internet radio) I saw 1 posted and literally <30 seconds it was gone

He was obviously referring to the question of whether or not BT's CR "colleagues" knew about the multiaccounting, not whether or not he multiaccounted.

Can someone provide an example of a reason that fits stox and Bryce's description?
