I'm going to ask the same questions again, and hopefully will receive an answer based on the most recent policies (in terms of banking/pokerstars etc). Any assistance with any of the following questions will be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I am a U.S. Citizen who will be relocating to Toronto for the summer to play online on Pokerstars. I used to have an account with them, so I know I will have to provide extensive documentation that proves I did in fact relocate. '

1. What are the exact documents I need to provide? (I will be renting a single room, in a townhouse, not leasing my own apartment under my own name.) What could I do in this scenario? For example if i provide a bank statement with the address, would that be sufficient?

2. I've read around and some people say they were denied the opening of a bank account due to the fact that they weren't Canadian residents, while others opened an account just fine. I looked around and almost every Canadian bank requires you to be a citizen. What are some banks that people personally have had no trouble recently opening an account with?

3. I read somewhere that to reinstate your account and to verifty you pokerstars calls you at your landline? Can someone please elaborate on this? Do i need to buy a prepaid phone? What needs to be done in this step?

4. Assuming i get my account reinstated, and get a bank account setup. What is the best method for depositing/withdrawing? Is it instadebit or any other ewallet? And if so, what are the transaction fees for these typically? I also read a few posts of people having their bank deny transactions from Bank ----> Ewallet account. Basically what do you suggest assuming i'd be depositing roughly 6k and withdrawing all funds after the duration of my stay.

Once again i'd like to thank anyone who could provide any answers to my above questions!
I'm in same situation atm, would appreciate any info!

Could anyone PM/help me with finding a credit union in BC (Vancouver) that allows online poker? Got the ol call from RBC saying to stop, etc. Would like to go with a Credit Union as I hear they are much better for this. Much appreciated!
