Personality types of poker pros

Now it's easy enough to make assumptions about what most poker pros are like or the qualities one must possess to be a successful pro, but I want to collect some data. I'm going to use a free internet Jung/Myers-Briggs test. It's just a quick series of yes/no questions.

Max poll options is 10 and there are 16 possible types, so I'm not including a poll.

I'm trying to get a sample of pros or long-term winners, so only post if you're one of those and be honest.

In a few days I'll make a table of all the results and post it next to one that describes the general population. Here is the test:

Just reply with your 4-letter type. Not sure how curious everyone else is but this stuff interests me. gogogogo

I took the best both in law school and business school. ENFJ. I don't think personality types have any affect on success in poker.

I've seen a thread on this before and INTJ dominates.

INFJ

reading the "INFJ type description by D.Keirsey" I can say safely I am not INFJ. While I am sympathetic to others at times, I am (way) far from "have an exceptionally strong desire to contribute to the welfare of others, and find great personal fulfillment interacting with people"

Also, questions might work better with 1-5 option rather than YES-NO.

Re: Personality types of poker pros

meh, changed "You are easily affected by strong emotions" from Yes to No (I am easily affected, yet controlling it pretty well) and I am INTJ.
Like most of those short tests, the groups are probably balanced and tuned, but the test is BS.

Re: Personality types of poker pros

I got ENTP but I didn't really like the test-- a lot of the questions were ambiguous and also I wanted to answer "it depends" to a ton of them. That being said, the description of ENTP pretty accurately describes me.
