No, what I mean is it's very easy to write off Avengers as shallow hollywood garbage, until you realize how much better than it's peers it is. If movies like The Avengers were easy to make, every $200 million dollar movie would be of similar quality to The Avengers and very few are.

Posted this in the sports betting thread but didn't get any replies...Does anyone know how I can get in touch with Jason Young? He owes me ~$2K for a sports bet but he hasn't been back on 2p2 since the forums went down. Judging based upon his posts in the sports betting thread, I assume he was a HSNL reg and can be trusted to pay.

Yep.. just yesterday I emailed security cuz a 5k wd took > 24hrs and they said they had to do a review but (conveniently so) it was "over" and everything was fine upon receiving my e-mail and they had the xfer go thru... then had another that took close to 24hrs again and now just did another and its still pending after most of the day.. lil strange considering most all my MB wds over the years have been snap paid out.

Re: ****Official what happened to the rest of May HSNL **** thread ****

what was good about avengers? I mean it was basicly transformers, but then a bit better. Except still way too long. Crappy story, nice enviroments and action scenes, gotta give em that. But characters were kinda lame, whats the deal with captain america? Is his target audience awkward farmers or something?
And those aliens, SERIOUSLY??? * deep voice of someone who smokes too much* WE HAVE COME TO DESTROY YOUR PLANET. While he waves his cliche ****ty wand around parading in his lame ass worn out alien costume. I mean cant they come up with something new?

crappy contrived dialogue, meant to entertain 8-80 year olds it seem. Action scenes that went on for way too long, mixing in stupid story lines that are so boring i want to gauge my eyes out. Whats so great about this movie? or am i getting old or something?? Movie seemed like one big collection of cliches that have been so worn out, but in a nice wrapper that you annoyingly start to see through after about 15 minutes. If those cliches were persons they would just be giant *******s turning upwards waiting for some giant producer dick to wear them out even more. And for some reason 200k people on imdb seems to think it is worth an 8.7. Last time i rely on imdb

Not saying its a 4 or something, but its a 6.5 at best. It even kinda failed to mindlessly entertain me.

rather than 3 month vacations, I've been doing stuff like working hard for a couple weeks, then taking one off completely from poker...but Diablo III and some other stuff have ruined my schedule recently : /

It's def +ev to take a real vacation.

real vacation - go to a beach town in some other country or across the u.s.
not a vacation - getting high and playing video games at home

I think getting to visit a medieval town, a fortress and heaven while fighting evil creatures is the best vacation you can possibly have.

Re: ****Official what happened to the rest of May HSNL **** thread ****

Anyone here gone through Stars investigating their account? I basically have been accused of VPN'ing (not true, am in Canada right now...) and have never played real money from the USA. The lady I talked to on the phone seemed really adamant that I did indeed use a VPN, but hopefully intelligence prevails as it's crystal clear to anyone with a brain that has access to my account logs that I never used a VPN for real money. They asked me for my bank account statement for like the last ~6 months. I found this extremely odd but complied anyway. Just give me my ***** account back WTF

Anyway, I'm wondering how long stuff like this takes? I play HSNL and have a lot of money in my account...

Might have to cave in and download Diablo III now. Is it as good as D2? I haven't played a computer game in over 5 years.

I think it's one of the best designed games of all time.

re: vacation joke

Diablo 3/video games are just a time out from life imo. Still diff. from a vacation.

Three month is impossible for me. I take off like two weeks maybe once or twice a year, but I am also traveling alot so it feels like I have many "small" vacations when I go to the beach for a few days etc. I am still pretty young and excited about building a bigger bankroll to play higher stakes, once I have enough to play all games I want to play it might be diffrent.
Probably still always gonna think about wasting EV and also getting out of my routine if I don't play for such a long time.

this part will never happen lol, there's always a bigger game :roll eyes:

idk about having 3 months off either that seems like a while, I'd much rather just take shorter more frequent breaks (which is what I'm doing at the moment)
