Curious how difficult the visa situation is? You are aware of the travel restrictions and are not over-staying the legal limit without a visa right?

What kind of hourly would you guys except at a 10/20 live game with 4% rake capped at 40$ (yes i know...) but with some of the biggest droolers ever ? The rake seems absolutely massive but the players are all massive whales, even by live standards.

Re: Official **** it I'm making a June **** thread, thread

Hey guys, anyone know what the procedure is for wiring money to the Rio this year? I'm planning to play a few tournies and then maybe some big cash games if they run so will be wiring a large amount. Last year i wired to the Rio and they would only give it to me all in one go when i got there and told me to wire to the wsop in future and said they would make a note on my account to say they told me that so I should prob not wire there this time.

Does this mean I should be wiring money to the wsop pre-reg thing, checking the boxes for tournies I want to play and then just sending way more money than I need for those and hoping they give me the $$s when i get there and don't just send it back or something?

Cheers for the help

Le Reve at Wynn is amazing. O is awesome as well. Tons of tough and creative acrobatic moves. Definitely go with either of this since it's safe and I've never heard anything negative about them.

Zumanity is quirky, fun, and tons of sexual jokes. Probably a love it or hate it show.

Mystere is decent. The landing platform isn't water so you can see the strings hanging on the performers, which took out some of the fun for me. One performer actually fell while attempting a front flip on another guy's shoulder and I was like "oh ****" because I think he was going to die then got confused when he was floating in the air. Then he did a few more takes and got it.

KA and Love are worst. I probably fell asleep throughout the show.

Blue Man Group is great for music fans. It gets the audience involved, which makes the experience much better. It's always cool to have a chance to get selected for the stage.

For dinner, Cut for steaks (mac-n-cheese is out of this world) and Raku for Japanese.

Have a great time.

La Reve is TERRIBLE. No offense if anyone performs in it, I am sure you are a great performer and do fine acrobatics, but your show stinks like Khal Drogo's hair. Ka rules. Ka has swordfighting. Ka has archers. Ka has a story. Ka has a TRANSFOOOORMING STAGE and guys dressed as crustaceans. Love rules too. Love is the best. There is roller skating. Or O.

Stuff like this is pretty stupid to estimate imo.. I mean, the marginal difference (and thus, available value) between players as they go from the worst -> the best decreases.. and so of course inversely, the worse the player is, the greater the margin for value increases..

ex. if they're bad cuz they get top pair all-in 150bb deep too often, there's X value... if they're superbad cuz they're drunk and spazz in 200bb drawing dead, there could be 4X. ie.. the differences in "badness" can be huge and just how bad they are will determine whether your game can be profitable.

Re: Official **** it I'm making a June **** thread, thread

i thought la reve was the best by far, it had a bit of everything.

i'd rank them about:

la reve
o
love (but this can easily be the best if you're into the beetles, it's still visually awesome and colorful and cool tricks, just nothing as big scale as o or ka or la reve)
ka

mystere

zumanity (absurdly weird, but funny enough for sure)

elvis sucks comparatively

it's been a while since i wired money there, but two years ago i talked to a woman who was in charge of wsop wires. i cant' remember her name, but she was the go-to contact (if you call or email there they'll get you in touch with her or whoever is doing her job now)-- just get the wiring information from her, send to the cage, they make you take it out in the diamond club room thing or whatever, and that's pretty much it. i never had a big issue with it.

Re: Official **** it I'm making a June **** thread, thread

Going to do the dinner/date night thing with GF in Vegas. Was thinking Picasso which I was at once a while ago and was really good. Other option was Eiffel Tower since we were together in Paris a bit ago and wanted to go to the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower but it was booked so that could be cool even if Picasso will be better food wise. Anyone been to the Eiffel Tower spot? Any other suggestions?

Also going to do one of the cirque shows and everyone seems to be divided on them enough that doesn't matter to much which one I go to?

FWIW I thought Love was awesome but I really like the Beatles, Le Reve was ok and O was really good of the ones I've seen. So I guess it's Ka or Mystere. Zumanity probably not the best idea since her friend will probably come with for the show.

Thoughts on other shows.

Blue Man Group was good the first time I saw it, friends were going again a few years later and I tagged along and it was really boring exact same as the first time. Almost nothing had changed.

David Copperfield was really bad and you could tell he was mailing it in and collecting his cheques.

Penn and Teller I thought was really fun.
