OFFICIAL High Stakes Wire + other awesome TV shows thread
Hail Mary attempt to save the monthly high stakes thread.

Wire is cool i was too high when watching it for the most part. This has caused me to forget the bulk of it. Mcnulty is a cool drunk, Omar is the most hardcore gay guy in the game. That's my contribution.

Have you watched all of the seasons? I really liked the transgression from season one through season five. The season 5 finale was great, if I perceived it the way it was meant to be perceived. Season one was probably my favorite of them all.

Other good shows I would recommend would be Entourage(duh?), and Californication. Californication is a pretty cool show imo, but might be hit or miss with you guys.

im almost finished w/ season one of the wire. netflix needs to send me the ***** last disc already. to anyone who hasn't experienced the wire before, trust me... you're missing out. it blows every other crime show out of the **** water.

Yea, trust the guy who is almost done with season 1, not the 293809743 people who have seen all 5 and have been raving about it incessantly ever since.
