So for those of you who have been here a while have likely noted, this forum doesn't get a lot of strat discussion anymore. It is not alone.

After a lot of discussion, it has been decided to merge several NLHE forums to hopefully make each one more viable and full of good strat discussion.

Here is the current plan: So what does that mean for this forum? It will be merged with the Medium Stakes NL forum, and it will be specifically for HU through 6-max, with Full Ring discussion going in to the Mid-High Full-Ring NL Forum. All threads from both forums with replies from 2016 or newer will be in the new forum, and all links from both forums should still work (they did when we did this with the Limit Forums).

So if you have any major concerns about this plan, please post them ITT. Barring major issues we haven't considered already, this change will happen in about a week. It should be pretty seamless.

In my opinion the full ring distinction should be removed and the distinction should be devolved to live poker:

• High-Mid Stakes Online NL
• Low-Micro Stakes Online NL
• High Stakes Live NL
• Mid-Low Stakes Live NL
• Heads Up NL

I realize that this causes issues with the merging, but having online and live poker together as they are makes so little sense that, in my opinion, you should try to make this work.

OK, all the threads in this forum that have seen any activity since 2016 have now been moved to the Medium Stakes PL/NL forum, which will be renamed. This forum will be closed to new threads now, but will remain searchable.
