Fwiw
I was a small agent under Jay.
My group and I got paid in full within a month of poker one getting shutdown.
Had about 10k total owed.

its pretty laughable to start this thread and call someone a scammer, then just not respond to things posted in the thread in a timely manner. if you had to travel, then you should have waited to post this thread. the way you went about this is pretty ridic and makes you look very arrogant/stupid.

Especially when it's a guy who is one of the best HUNL players in the world, has a good reputation, and has zero reason to scam someone out of a measly $47K. It'd cost him way more future money than $47K.

At this time Merge spread games as high as 300-600 if I recall correctly. Anyway, the owner asked if I could bring some winning players to his skin to offset his losers and make the fund reconciliation process for him easier.
Is this real life???? This statement defies ALL common sense. If he can't pay the network what the players lost, what the **** did he do with the money that they had deposited? Obviously he is 100% scamming.

So he finds a sucker to believe his story that if he can only bring winning players to the network, it will just make things all work out! Jesus ****ing christ, anybody who bought into that story deserves to lose their money.

Now it appears not everyone knew the whole story behind it (people Jay signed up). Jay did though and shouldn't receive a ****ing cent.

Seriously Jay, could you explain to all of us how you thought the numbers would start to add up and work out if winning players were brought to the network.

It would maybe make sense if the company had a bunch of losing players AND was paying their debts. But tell me how it works when you bring winning players to a network not paying for their losing players debts.

Lol, having only losing players on your skin would make you the unicorn of skins, everyone would look at you in awe as you were ****ting rainbows.

On the contrary , skins with only winners(as in fishing for rb whores and the like with under the table offers) get penalized. It was a couple of years ago networks realized that skins who brought traffic but only winning traffic are damaging as a whole.

Clearly site was letting players play on credit. When they lost the owners became liable to collect and couldn't.

Just the same as the new owners let Doug et al play on credit but then they won more than what the losers lost and nm now they have the opposite problem of not having the funds to pay out their balances.

Or else I'm reading this whole thing wrong...

Wouldn't surprise me if it was the actual skin owner who ran up the tab. Not really a bad roll.

Start skin.. play high hoping to make a hit and win, if you lose, run on the tab or find winning players to come cover the tab and run on them.

Just doesn't make much sense that the site owner would hand out credit to players in the end who he wouldn't be able to collect from. And in large amounts that he wouldn't be able to cover himself. We know he is a scammer, so everything would point to him being the one who lost the money. Scammers just don't get scammed very often, and in no reasonable way did this crook hand out free money to others.

I'm also in the boat of being owed money from p1. Jay has basically lead me to believe that at least half the site is owned by some Asian dude and there is conflicting reports as to where the money went... 47k that Doug has is basically meaningless in this equation and not even the tip of the iceberg.

So question, does anyone actually know who JayNYC is in real life?

Gentlemen,

If I was the scammer some of you think I am, I would be 230k richer and this thread wouldn't see the light of day. Please realize that the players who were invited to p1 were either friends or acquaintances. I have no need or desire to scam anyone, particularly friends of mine - some of whom I still talk with to this day.

I have been a part of this community far longer than the 6? or so months of activity on p1. And while I curse the day I became aware of the site, I still believe we would have been paid in full or close to it if it wasn't for all of the events listed in my op.

None of that changes the fact that Doug has money that doesn't belong to him. And despite what some of you may think, it is not my intention to shake Doug's tournament preparation or whatever silly reasoning was posted here; nor was my timing specific. I had become frustrated with Doug's handling of the situation and refusal to communicate. We had a gentleman's agreement between all parties and I wish we could have solved things like gentlemen.
