me and my friends exploited the virtual greyhounds one night for 40k, got it all taken off us though ha...i think there are betting limits tho the chances of winning over 500k off it is very unlikely...

haha cman np. LoL at people thinking he used a credit card to deposit- only a black card can do something that as far as I know, only one with no limits. Had to be bank wire. Very very strange situation obv, hacking and fraud seem pretty unlikely, ipoker are desperate for giving out info- fwiw ipoker take responsibility for the security/anti-fraud, not william hill afaik.
Legally you got nothing if it turns out to somehow be a phantom deposit- terms of contract are very clear there.
William Hill online is based in gibraltar dont think its licenced in uk like its actual shops, I know for a fact thats the case with paddypower anyway (except they`re located in isle of man)
My impression is they closed it to have yet another look because its such an outlier- 22 buyins at nl20k is very rare id assume- they`re behaviour is still inexcusable obv.

i cross my fingers for you two! Whatever happens, you need to get some % of the money, even if it gets confiscated completely...

Re: Ipoker blocked account

@alexuus thanks

@dave so u think he didnt use a credit card....how could his deposit be illegal in that case? i dont see a way to depoit in illegal ways by using bankwire. what do u think why they mentioned that police is investigating?

btw: u think that there is no way at all to get money afterwards by a lawsuit or something like that?

thanks for your thoughts on it

Ownage i dont know how things work in every country, but I do not know of any credit card other than a black card where you can deposit such a high amount- it might be possible with debit card but only if there is 500k plus in the bank account- there are just too many anti-fraud measures for it to be easy to do- bank wire is easier really.

As regards illicit money and what options are available to ipoker I`d need to have another look at Ts and Cs- could be police are investigating the depositor as a person with a history of money laundering etc and ipoker are suspicious as a result? These things become more likely if the stakes are higher I guess- anythings possible here really

Honestly i think best option right now for you two is to change OP to "ipoker seize 500k from players without explanation" and maybe get onto pokerlistings or pokernews- i think ul find more transparency if u get thru

Re: Ipoker blocked account

They gave us some explanations but without any proof. Our patience is coming to an end and it is very likely that we will make the following thread but now we are waiting for ipoker's decision. ofс we wont wait it too long. they promised to make next update in the beginning of the next week. Will see.

+1. I think you need to make the topic name a bit more explanatory. "Ipoker blocked account" sounds like the 10001 thread random guys open when they are caught multiaccounting. Thus, the community is not really helping here.

Best of luck with this issue.

Re: Ipoker blocked account

Hey, I'm just a lurker in HSNL and an active poster in SSNL playing 200NL. I just want to add something to this as I've been "scammed" by ipoker aswell.

I think it's a year ago or something and someone told me about the new ipoker software (only played on smaller euro sites and FT) and deposited only like 50 to see the software. Went straight to a 50NL HU table and played like an idiot but ran hot (shoving 49o but making full house etc.) for 50 hands or so. Won couple buyins whatever. Next day I'm banned, because this was a case of chipdumping by the guy.

Tried to explain it and even called them. I think it was WilliamHill (the skin). They were basically telling me to "agree" that I cheated so they could reopen my account and confiscate my funds lol. Never spoke to them again and saw it as a lesson to never play at ipoker anymore.

Goodluck you guys!

Wow...that's ridiculous.

Along with everything else itt. Most sites are just so ridiculously scummy. They just force us to leave the absolutely minimum on their sites because of the likelihood that we will somehow get ****ed over.
