I got banned for LIFE from Foxwoods (tl;dr) - Page 13 - Micro Stakes Pot Limit and No Limit

I open-raise from CO (with 7 5hh) to 100, Button calls, Alex in SB calls, FF in BB raises to 400.

I call 300, Button calls 300. Now the action is on Alex in the sb. He now has the opportunity to flat call and close the action. He can now close the action with $1600 in the pot going to the flop. Instead, he minraises to 750. Frankie and Alex have some fake-competative banter for about 10 seconds and then Frankie goes all in for ~5k.

I fold, Button folds. Alex takes no time at all and folds. He put no thought process into weather or not he could call. He instantly threw his cards away.

if this alex was only a little bit competent it was collusion 4sho! and its a bit scary that the floor did not do anything about it but yet banning a player for talking about that incident in front of other customers. really looks like the juice thing...and probably has to do with da blow

in the holiday spirit...i just decided to call the foxwoods poker room and tell them I am very concerned that they let a highly suspected cheater in the name of FF play at their casino.....i suggest others in this thread make the same phone call....gotta start with 800-369-9663 and ask for poker, it doesnt take too long...

wow i just read this whole thread - totally unsurprising from the limited time i've been at foxwoods that their staff is beyond incompetent.

i think bronx bomber's advice was probably best - try to speak to the poker room manager, if that doesn't work, hire a lawyer. fwiw, i had minor dealings with foxwoods's law department and i wouldn't be surprised if they stonewall you.

also, even though i doubt kmoneyk actually did what he just said, it's pretty terrible and i would hope no one else is dumb enough to do that.

Mohegan 5/10nl games were fantastic over the weekend. It ran on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Their room and staff are 100x better than foxwoods also.

i am inclined to think this is the best bet honestly. at ceasars a reg caught a dealer and a player colluding and the management did nothing. a different dealer told him that you cant go to the casino management for stuff like this (obviously they have to protect their rep) and you have to go to the gambling commission. they have a desk at every casino.

...not to mention that the cap on the Mohegan 5/10nl game is $2500; foxwoods is $2000. Oh, and rake is cheaper too. Time charge at Mohegan is $6/half hour, foxwoods $7.

heh, thanks for the recommendation - i will head to mohegan then but i live in philly so im usually in AC

i didnt finish reading this thread yet but i do hope you get everything resolved but do you think if you get reinstated at FF would you still go back? i guess if i were in your shoes, i would out of principle. but it seems like they ****ed you real bad and didnt mention you need sweatpants for the ride home and vaseline when you play there.

If I was the poker room manager he has no shot, it isn't like Foxwoods has any competition, the last thing they need is someone spreading cancer in there poker room. This is where I called the floor and asked that the 2 hands be exposed because I suspected the 2 players were working together. Obviously chaos ensued. Frankie and Alex were both adamant about not wanting to show their cards "just because you think we're cheating." They did not want to show their cards to anyone. The floorman looked at FF's cards and then buried them in the muck. He did the same to Alex's. He took FF aside alone and then Alex alone. As the floorman was walking back with Alex, FF stood up and the 3 of them got involved in a conversation out of earshot from the table. As he finished up with them, the conversation started to break and he began to walk in my direction. He finished the conversation by turning to Alex and Frankie and said "You guys both be careful. Be very careful." This can mean many things obviously. Take it fwiw.

He spoke to me for a few minutes and gave me no information about the strength of either hand. He basically gave me a speech about how both parties have been spoken to and have been told that collusion is taken seriously at foxwoods. He said he told them that he didn't want to hear another word about it at the table and no words spoken between Alex/FF and me.

What else can I do? He buried the cards in the muck and never said what they had. IF the floor saw evidence that they were colluding on that one hand, no action could ever be taken by the floor person since one hand DOESN'T MEAN A THING. You can't tell squat from that one hand. It's the culmination of seeing them sqeeze to pick up every pot possible AND that hand in question which leads me to believe that I am 98% certain that were cheating. The only reason I am not 100% is because I don't have any evidence. It can't be proven.

hello deeznuts and CO from FTP 50/100 NL and 25/50 NL from over the summer and all the ****ing cheating/colluding they did. sounds like the same exact **** they did. god i hate cheaters

you do see how not banning him would've created a lot less problems, right? now there's a 500 post thread on the most visible poker forum on the internet about how arbitrary and [censored] up the foxwoods poker room is from a long-time, well-respected poster. as opposed to a guy who sounds like he rightfully called a certain play collusion and got out of line and called a guy a cheater a little later.

back on track here: Does anyone know who the next person in line above the Poker Room Director would be for me to contact?

I prefer to not go through security channels via a letter as I'm pretty sure their response would be "write us back in 6 months and we'll consider it further."

A higher ranking executive would be more apt to turn this decision around without stonewalling imo.
