yeah WCG was super easy to work with and I would swap with him no prob in the future (that's why I sent first without any problems).

wasn't trying to cast aspersions on him or anything, but I think d0zer kind of nailed it. 2012 poker is a scummier world than 2009-2010 and sometimes you just get a little paranoid even when you feel confident that things will work out.

just to reiterate WCG/Doug was super easy to work with and made the transfer as soon as he finished with his other business.

communication is key. I would never leave in the middle of a transfer with someone I hadn't dealt with in the past without saying a word. All you have to do is IM him "hey i'm heading out for a bit, will def ship when I get back"
