the original hsnl xfer thread was merged into the one in the internet poker forum so that it could be better policed for scammers. however, after some discussion it was decided that a place for xfer requests in hsnl was necessary, but since krantz and ike and i don't have the time/methods to police this thread as thoroughly as Mike Haven and Rainbow Warrior do in internet poker, we are ONLY allowing known and reputable members of hsnl to engage in xfers here. if we don't recognize you, we will be deleting your post itt.

If you're a regular and you see a post from someone who doesn't belong, PLEASE report it immediately.

Good to see this back in HSNL, that said wanted to jump in and post that you might want to look at older thread for reputables as well.

There are a couple guys like myself who don't really post in HSNL but have a boatload of trades and references, literally 100+ trades on here in my case.

New Official Transfer Request Thread
 

The old thread got deleted because too many people were getting scammed and 2p2 doesn't want to be responsible for that. I asked the higher-ups if we could have a thread for transfer requests if we kept it strictly to well-known, trusted posters and they gave that a tentative OK. Please only post in this thread if you think that most people who read this forum will know who you are.

There is a thread in the Internet Poker forum for general transfer requests (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...040509-a-1529/). If I or the other HSNL mods don't know who you are, we will move your request there.

If you haven't done many swaps in the past, you should read the first post of the thread linked above, it has a lot of good advice for avoiding being scammed. For the sums of money we're going to be dealing with in HSNL, my personal advice is simple: deal only with people you already know and send only to account names you already recognize. Verify their identity by getting in touch with them through multiple channels: 2p2, aim, phone, etc. If you choose to deal with relative unknowns who contact you based on your posts in this thread, be careful. Even if they send first you are not 100% in the clear. If it turns out that the money transferred to you was stolen, some sites will take it back.

Understand concern... posted early on for this reason, not many recognize my 2+2 name from general posts.....but I have traded more $$$ through 2+2 than anyone else on the site guaranteed and a whole slue of people in HS can vouch for that, check your aim i'm sure i've traded for some of your friends.

4cardgrind was a very active trader in the old HSNL transfer thread. Anyone who reguarly traded using it would recognize his name. Most would probably recognize it before yours, especially since he had like 100 posts confirming he is a good trader in the old thread.

I will vouch for him(as can many others) as I have traded 10k+ with him many times and never had one problem. And I'd be willing to guess he's traded more than twice(or 4x) as much as any non-nosebleed player on 2+2.

your post is out of line- just because you don't recognize a poster as someone who's been around since the Party days like you have, does not mean they aren't fit to post in here.

Fair enough, if you and Stinger are vouching obv he's good to go. Just seemed weird that the 2 of the first 5 posts in the active/reputable thread were names I had never heard of. Don't want to see anybody get scammed but clearly that's not an issue in this case. Carry on.
