This $7 million 5300sqft three-story 5BR 5BA mansion in Hollywood Hills is basically ridiculous. Fully furnished, the house is perfect for dropping panties with a cliffside infinity pool, jacuzzi, steam room, gym, audio system, and amazing views offered by 14’ floor to ceiling windows and multiple balconies. Also, the house is surrounded by famous celebrities and is within walking distance of Sunset Blvd. with some of the finest clubs, bars, and restaurants that L.A. has to offer. The current owner is a former Hollywood actor and a chill dude who has spent the last two decades fully customizing this place.
The current players living in the house are GoMukYaSelf, fantasticcow, sethsethseth, and jmoney10587, four successful mid-high stakes regulars. We had another person committed who was unable to get out of his existing lease, so we are looking to replace him. The lease is from Dec 12th to June 11th and is a fantastic deal at $20k/month (considering how sick the house is). This allows us to move somewhere warm and fun for 6 months and move straight to Vegas for the WSOP with no overlap. We want everyone interested to apply as long as cost is not an issue for you.
This is how we would describe the ideal candidate:

Socially-adjusted (Outgoing, likes to go out and meet new people, decent pickup game, etc.)
Open to new experiences
Easy-going/easy to get along with
Successful player at high stakes NL (5/10+) who is active and respected in the 2+2 community

Not trying to hate on your advertising, but technically the real Hollywood Hills are multiple miles from Sunset.

Is that overpriced iyo? Not familiar with rental prices for that kind of house in that region. Seems like a good deal if the housemates are cool.

However, i do think the house would be overpriced at 7 millions.

God damn that is pretty sick. Kinda wish my life was more of a mess right now so I could drop everything and do this.

hah, same here.....place looks ridiculous, probably nicest 2p2 house I've ever seen, and definitely worth the 4k if you take advantage of the nightlife scene I would think.

I dont really see what the big deal is. He didn't demand that you have a minimum number of girls you have ****ed, just that you are reasonably social and can handle yourself going out and ****.

We like to think so =) Going to talk on AIM/phone to those who are really interested and would be a good fit so will give you a chance to judge this for yourself.

Yeah, I think 4k is more than any of us were intending to spend on rent and it def isn't cheap. However, when we saw this house we changed our mind quickly on this front... you get what you pay for. For 2k-3k/person or so we were either looking at a terrible location far away from the action or having to get a condo/apt. In real world terms, 4k is a lot but relative to what we are making it isn't too much. Def plan to take full advantage of the nightlife though lol

11-17-2009 , 07:36 PM

He wasn't super thrilled with it, but after meeting and talking with us in person he realized that we are pretty responsible and laidback guys. He was godfather (or uncle can't remember) to a couple guys our age who now play poker professionally (horryclutch and stackinkids if anyone is familiar) so he already was pretty familiar with online poker. Also, the supply of properties >>> the demand right now so that definitely did not hurt our cause (and helped us negotiate a really good deal.)

lol. I have read the game and thought it was pretty good, but none honestly... this isn't one of those pickup houses or whatever.

I can't speak for the other three but my situation was I am stuck living in Michigan where it is boring and about to get really cold. I wanted to move some place warmer for the winter with more to do, meet new people, have new experiences, etc. Talked to a few friends who had the same idea and the whole thing just kind of fell into place.

haha. I don't see any problem with it... we all play primarily NL though so if that is cool with you. I have been trying to learn some PLO but I basically assume every situation is just a flip and go from there
