*** HS $500 Superbowl Squares Pool ***

This OP will always contain the current pool info. I'll continually update the graphics on this post as we sell squares.

Here's a printable pdf here that you can bring to your Superbowl party:
http://www.adamrichardson.com/2p2/Ad...bolSquares.pdf
link will be active when we sell out all squares

Re: *** HS $500 Superbowl Squares Pool ***

A few people PM'd asking how a squares pool works. I lifted this from a squares pool web site:

"Football Squares Rules Within the grid, the top row of numbers represents the possible points scored of team one and the left column represents team two’s score. (The numbers are not placed in these squares until the players have added their names to the grid.)
All the players add their names to the other free squares within the grid. Depending on the number of players, some may choose more than one square. As soon as the players have filled in all of the squares, numbers from 0 to 9 are drawn blindly and filled in across the top row. This is repeated for the left column. When you’re done, you’ll have numbers from 0 to 9 in random order across the top row and down the left column, and names filled in all of the other squares.
The object of the game is to “choose” the score of the game by having your name in the square at the intersection of the final points of each team (as you draw an imaginary line down from team one’s score at the top and across from team two’s score). If there is a two-digit number, the second digit is used for the match. For example, if team one has 14 points and team two has 21, the person in the square at the intersection of #4 from the top row and #1 from the left column wins. You will have four winners by selecting the scores at the end of each quarter."

Cliff notes: A squares pool is neutral EV roulette with a good sweat. Nachos optional.

I'll take one square. "rakefreezecom" on FTP

Suggestion: Have an aim or msn group so people can make deals.

30 seconds left in quarter and Giants are attempting a 55 yard FG. The affected degens can then make a deal.

Edited to add: If people want me to escow I will do it

seems slightly unfair no?

if someone picks early and has say row 1 for all 4 of their squares, and that row ends up being a 5 then that person is really unlikely to win as football scores almost never end in 5 and they have virtually no sweat. obv its still random where the numbers end up, but i think you should just randomize where everyone is instead of placing them in order to give people more sweats and stuff.

Re: *** HS $500 Superbowl Squares Pool ***

it says scores and squares will be selected randomly, so there is not choosing it's all just random, you'll get a AFC and NFC number for each square... i think that wording is just throwing you off or osmething, it's just a regular fball square as far as i know

Both squares and numbers will be randomized. Current graphic is only a sample, showing how far we have to go until we sell out.

From graphic in OP: "SQUARES AND ROW/COLUMN NUMBERS WILL BE
RANDOMLY SELECTED ONCE ALL ARE SOLD"
