rake is generally time not pot raked in nosebleeds live. but either way live or online it's basically a rounding error.

The highest published rake on pokeratlas for high stakes $600/$1200 mixed was 10$/half hour at the bellagio. I guess they do it differently in the US than the do Macau.
In LA, 25/50 PLO high is 15/half hour. 500/1000 mixed at Borgata is 15/half hour. The % is capped or doesnt' exist at nosebleeds. Just like it doesn't exist online on the US sites.
I did some searching for Macau and the typical high stakes rake I found was 5% capped at $65. I did not find anything about an uncapped 5% high stakes game where rake would cross $500 a hand.

Comparing it to micro is irrelevant. It plays way deeper. It is why OP asked. Paying $500 to $1000 for a hand in rake would be crazy. Especially when you can walk down the street and pay a max rake of $65 per hand.
Or buy a $1000 plane ticket to California and rent a table for $20 a half hour.
