It's an old joke at Teddy Monroe's expense, Teddy was trying to sound smart and knowing the poker terms "flatting" and "barrelling" lead to him referring to pretty much anything in poker or life as "flatbarrelling"
i.e. "I called on the flop and flatbarrelled 'em on the turn and river" or "yo we at the spearmint rhino flatbarrelling bitches left and right"
You may also have to define the terms "flatting" and "barrelling" for Climhazard.
Kind of surprised OP didn't decide to pump his stack into the pot after the initial raise to $1300 or whatever it was, especially after all that has been described about the table dynamics. I can see some of them folding hands as good as QQ to you as you aren't really a part of the whole fiasco as much as them and they'll think you're simply strong.
sorry for bumping this archaic gem.. but just rewatched 'into the wild' for the first time in at least 5 years. at a point later on in the movie, emile hirsch is at 'slab city' (hippie commune in socal desert) and they speak of the stoners and nudists down at the 'oh-my-god hotsprings' and INSTANTLY this hand history came to mind. like i remembered exact action of flatting T8s for 12 bbz then decided oh wtf might as well stick the other 300+ in after cause why tf not and binking on AK for heaps. i remember reading this hand right after i first found the forums. clearly remember thinking i a) couldn't understand any of what delecto said in what is prob the only legitimate post in this entire thread and b) how terrible the T8s hand was and that guy prob busted not long after. considering i literally never heard anything else about omghotspringz, i'm assuming that was the case. i wonder if the inspiration for his name came from the movie (released 2007) or if he actually went to the place. i'm from socal, and lived in sd for a while, and still have never been or even heard of it.
idk why that means anything. it doesn't. some people might even get upset at the bump. but lol. couldn't help it. blazed as ****, been getting blasted in scoop despite winning on other networks (always doing it so fkng wrong) and it's so late that i'm not even tired anymore. not sure if i wanna take the day off to sleep or just start reg'ing and deal with it later.
