Still terrible.
Just to make for 3k you need to play about 60 hours in 10/20 game with 10bb/100 winrate with no variance. If there is variance it's worse (if you win 9k once and lose 3k once it's only 1.875k for the staker assuming 75-25 split).
I don't know how many hours the stakee is going to put but his willingness to spend 3 days (at least) playing relatively small tourneys and very limited bankroll make it very unlikely the stakee puts enough volume to make it +EV for the staker.

Unless the stakee is one of the best players in the world even 100-0 deal with expenses covered is probably -EV for the staker unless somehow the trip to vegas is 2 months long or something

Don't see how it can be anything but A. If you're broke and not risking anything you should be happy with what you can get. Staked is being more than fair IMO. How is it 50/50 when stakee is risking nothing? He is delusional.

If he doesn't want the deal I volunteer myself in his place.
