I'm guessing he feels blindsided by this right now considering how in the past he's always paid in July. Its still possible that his plan was trying to delay payment out of inconvenience then trying to scam people. Now its Edog's chance to prove which it is. How he comes off in public long term hasn't been decided yet.
He can liquidate assets and pay back the $ and we can chalk it up to him trying not to have to inconvenience himself for as long as possible, and this will be all forgotten in a month, or he can welch and be considered a piece of **** human being and never get another sponsorship opportunity no matter what happens with US legislation etc.
I admit I'm basing this on info from a few years ago, regarding his fantasy skill. He used to be terrible and neglectful of his team.
So the better question is this:
If he has improved and become a decent fantasy player, why was anyone stupid enough to include him in their league, given his history of slowpaying and dodging people?
I had assumed it was for reasons that my friend told me, basically that he was so terrible that it was worth the hassle and risk he may not pay. However, if he's comparable in skill to everyone else at this point, LOL at still letting him play.
