it's pretty clear

if the guy backs people, he should have access to cash. if he doesn't have access to cash, then he's obviously spreading his finances too thin, and made a mistake structuring his stable vs his finances. sell off some horses, fix your liquidity problems, and clear your debts.

if he continues to back people while debts are outstanding, he's just dodging.

Just heard from a friend that one of his friends had the same experience 3 or 4 years ago and took a lot longer than it should have to get paid.

messaged Erick a bunch hes blatantly ignored all messages. Also there are a fair amount of people that are not paying out their side bets because Erick isn't (or they are busto as well), I feel like there should be a list compiled of outstanding debt considering its been 5 months. In the other ff thread, inissint owes $40k and is busto and can't pay.

Its kinda sad, but i guess its the last year I participate in any of the high stakes leagues. They were a lot of fun, but this is just ******ed to deal with.

Wow, I am extremely naive. I knew a lot of high stakes "pros" have had financial problems because of their degenerate lifestyles.. but Lindgren? If there was one "big name" pro that I would have picked out to be a standup, trustworthy guy it's him. I understand fantasy leagues are sometimes shaky and it takes people a while to pay, but that convo and just the "cash broke" thing baffles me. If I'm Erick Lindgren and I don't have mad $$$ in the bank I would feel like the biggest degenerate in the world... this dude has made sooo much cash.
