Hey guys, I am the commish of the 3 dimes league a few of you are in. Edog owes me money and many others in the league. In his defense he has had a great track record of paying. Most of the time he pays near the world series or at the beginning of the following season. He has been in my league for 5 years and has always paid and there has always been a delay. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt on such a large loss. Obv up to you guys to do whatever but I just wanted to share my experience as commish with him in my leagues.

With full tilt funny money. Reality has changed. Like I posted previously skill owed me 25k from sports bets this Monday and I had it on Wednesday. RIDICUlOUS that he has to wait all this time to get his money from a "FT Pro" whatever the hell that really means at this point.

Why do people let him get away with always taking so long to settle gambling debts? When he obv has the money to pay and just doesn't want to

probably something to do with the fantasy action he provides...just a hunch.

Exactly, he accepts all beta and has always paid. We will see what kind of guy he is. I am not ready to call him a deadbeat just yet.

I appreciate your response, but I'm pretty sick of him having his own standard. Also, his conversation with me is pretty much lie after lie. If he said "i'll pay you at the WSOP like I always do" I would feel a LITTLE better.

Were the amounts he owed in past years similar to this year?

yeah, very different in past years when he was collecting some absurd amount of money from FT and didn't finish dead last in half the leagues.
03-01-2012 , 06:13 PM
I was in a league w/ edog and I had action w/ him for 2 yrs straight and beat him out of a good 5 figure amount both years, but both times he took until the start of next season to pay me. Actually I didn't collect until one of his horses (a good friend of mine) binked a large live tournament (both around the time football season started) and I just kept my ff debt owed by him through my friend's score.

I figured after FTP collapsed there was no way he'd be able to pay me if I won again this year so I took no side action w/ him this past season. I feel for the guys that did.

The amounts were much higher in the past but that was with full tilt.

What a scumbag. But this just proves how hard it is to survive in poker. All these top pros going broke even with almost $9M in lifetime earnings. Does anyone here feel they can win $9M in lifetime earnings? Even if you do...you'll end up busto.

Sick though.

Tell this bum to do golf course bets. Sad to know E-Dog doesn't have extra 100 dimes.

Jan 17

i'm not trying to be difficult, but I am owed money and I would like it. The season was over a while ago. I don't really want to make this a painful process. We aren't talking about a lot of money here...

Jan 17

I apologize for the delay, holidays and now moving has tied me up timewise and cashwise. I will have it out to you as soon as i can, no later than next week.

Erick

Jan 17

Hey Man,

I have been really patient and really nice. I'll give you until the end of the week to get my money or I'm sending an email our with our conversations to every poker player I know, posting on 2+2 and possibly hiring a lawyer.

Feb 24

Hey man just seeing your emails, sorry have been insanely busy with 3 month old, moving and getting back to playing. You have every right to do whatever you would like but i do promise I can get a check in the mail by tomorrow. I am in LA but have to go home tonight after poker to take care of some things. Hope that is ok.

Erick

I'm not trying to be a jerk, and I don't really want to be difficult. I just want a check. If you want to give cash to someone in vegas, that's fine too. Paypal is fine as well.

Feb 27

Was this sent or are you just enjoying your time in LA?

Today

Is this really happening? I'm a fan, been rooting for you for 10 years. I think it's cool to be in a fantasy league with you....and you are going to stiff me on 2k? It's a god damn check you have to mail out.

How is that a "great track record for paying"? It's taking him until next season to pay up? That's an awful track record!

A great track record means you pay up immediately, every time.
03-01-2012 , 06:28 PM
Sigh that's the type of communication you would expect from a rogue microstakes horse Jared not a supposedly top member of the poker world.

$2800 should be like pocket change for him.
03-01-2012 , 06:34 PM
Why don't I ever see thread's about pro's getting their face smashed in after pullin this ****?
03-01-2012 , 06:37 PM
What a douche.

People who take on debts/bets and then try their best to avoid paying them are the lowest of the lows. And now Erick Lindgren is officially in that category.
03-01-2012 , 06:40 PM
Wow Edog really comes off as scum in those email exchanges. Can't even man up and say

1) He owes it
2) He's sorry he doesn't have it right now
3) It's important to him to pay these debts as soon as possible

Instead he makes excuses and lies. Pure class.

It was my assumption that there was a chance he wouldn't be able to pay if he lost but I had no hard facts that he wouldn't be able to do so. Also like Bruck and a few others mentioned, he always settled his debts, even though it took awhile, so I didn't want to go telling people he couldn't pay if he lost because, well, I didn't know for sure.

Like most, I assumed his reputation would be very important to him and he'd eventually pay everybody, but I just took the cautious route and elected not to have any side action w/ him last season.
03-01-2012 , 06:51 PM
Yo Edog You need money for your kids diapers......**** YOU PAY ME!

You need money for David Benyamines EX WIFE to go to LUXURY SPA....**** YOU PAY ME

You need the money to back your broke horses and to enter tournaments yourself.....**** YOU PAY ME

This is how you guys need to act torwards Erick Lindgren(AKA E-Dog)the scum that makes bets he cant cover. He had more then enoguh time. This isnt an IOU league.

Yo straight tell him just like this, Yo E Dog **** YOU PAY ME

PS-Karma is a biotch EX FT Team. Your all gonna get it in the end. All your money is ours you till you payback what you stole. I gurantee KARMA will hit you all!

rofl this is a joke?

if lindgren can't pay 2.8k, that pretty much means that every live pro is basically broke.
