You're wrong, and shame on you for correcting someone who was already correct.
The IRS reserves the right to levy any assets you may have in any account anywhere. The casino would lose their license to operate if they decided to ignore the man with the gold badge and the official piece of paper.

Dude is clearly a pretty consistent performer and given some of the other people who get backed, definitely shouldn't have a problem finding someone to put the cash up.

Yes and no.
[ X ] Lindgren knows how to play the pokers gut
[ ] "shouldn't have a problem finding someone to put the cash up"
If you back Lindgren after everything that has been exposed among the private messages, and everything else in this thread, knowing there could be liens and other hidden surprises, not to mention he could walk away, then you're an idiot for backing him, unless you incorporate some heavy penalties in the split to account for all that risk. It's junk bond status. If he weren't one of the top tournament players in the world, it wouldn't even be worth junk bond status.

I'm just bored, but surely you know that being a big name is more important for being backed than actually being good at poker. Idiots backing idiots is one of the greatest sources of money in poker (good players don't need backing mostly).
Also, Lindgren was pretty good at PLO for a fish, and I don't hand out compliments like that often. As far as live pros go he'd have to be one of the better ones

You're aware right that there's people who have much much worse reputations and results who still get staked all the time right? Just because you wouldn't do it doesn't mean there's not other people who won't.

Perhaps he's just temporarily cash broke because he paid off the large debt he owed to FTP.
