I'm owed 11k from 2p2 Fantasy Leagues with Erick Lindgren. I've been owed 11k for almost 3 months! But this is not just about me...I know Kaj_Kyle is owed 50k, ahh snap is owed $$$, and I think others are owed $$$ as well.

He says he's cash broke, and I sense no urgency on his part to settle up. However, I do think he cares about his reputation, so I hope his urgency changes.

I didn't want it to come to this point, but in order for me (and others) to get the $ their owed, I think it's in our best interests to make this public.

For the record, skill game owed me 25k this monday. It is already in the bank acct I requested it sent to. These ***** pros are absurd. I hope he starts acting with the integrity you exhibit Max.

he has cash. I 100 % gurantee that. Just hoarding it for himelf like a selfish bastard. He need to pay a % of what he owes. He has money thats not his anymore. he owes and he should pay . If he won he would og got piad and now that he lost he think sit ok to slowpay. F him and FT.

funny how online pros are the only ones with any money. the more i hear about these live pros I used to look up to back in 03/04, the more it makes me sick about what a total fabrication the entire scene is. Everyone owing everyone money, the whole full tilt loan deal, and all these people who appear to have money who are either broke or don't care about clearing debts. We always hear this supposed honor among gamblers but the more I hear from people, it seems like the code is really "i wont call in your debts as long as so-and-so doesn't call in my debts"

yep, there is a ton of money owed in the high stakes fantasy leagues, prehaps we should get togather and have a huge master list of all the debt and make it public? There doesn't seem to be any urgency for anyone to pay.

Wow this is pretty disappointing and frankly kind of shopping. I have always been a huge fan of Lindgren's game and his attitude and demeanor at the table. He seemed like an straight up honest good dude, not too mention I thought I had heard rumors of him have heaps of $$$ and backing a decent amount of the live pros??

I guess they really are all LOLlivepros

mods: change the title of this thread to reflect Lindgren + scam. If he's really owed several people a total of more than $150K for 3 months and is crying poor while playing the LAPC ME, this needs to be made as public as possible (merits x-post to NVG too)

Is "I dont have cash" really a acceptable answer to not settle asap in most gambling circles? Dont see how that is your problem, he should be breaking his back to pay you back asap.

I'm owed 66k. I didn't know this thread was going up so fast.. I wanted a chance to talk to Erick before this was posted but I understand why those involved wanted to post as soon as they did.

I do want to say one thing for Eric. He has historically paid any debts we've had in due time, typically 5-6 months later. Yes, it was annoying, but I want to make sure people don't just assume he's a scumbag who welches on debts. I think he fully intends to pay the debts he owes and I hope he pays them very soon.

No. He should be selling assets (car, house, stock etc.) or have his backer loan him $ to settle up.

What can he really say? I can understand someone taking a little time to get the cash together/getting payment options in place, but 3 months after the bet comes due? Especially when players owed have obviously requested it multiple times.

These players are basically giving him an interest free loan, and he appears to still be wagering that "loaned" money.

If anyone wants to loan me 120K, interest free for 3-6 months, I'd be happy to take it. I'll even pay you back, when I'm not cash broke.
