You're probably leveling, but in either case:

No. Because that would leave him no control over the games he wants to play, because he can't control when you read it. So the standard is that the playing side of the agreement can cancel at any time, if it's posted in a way that he did or via personal messaging, i.e. in a way that would make the date&time verifiable.
