When I think of all time best PLO players, it is a pretty clear progression, with little debate:

lol anyone who knows about NYPOKERKING or adnan knows hes terrible and a fraud. kid calls me out HU then when I tried to set up match he blocks me on all social media. I've heard other examples of this. He is terrible.

All a scam to get tournament backing like most social media poker stars. If I recall correctly this guy was charging 1.2 or higher on his wsop package.

If his goal is to look like a shark he's completely floundering.

Based on his Instagram posts, it appears he has lost a lot of money in Vegas recently playing tournaments and cash games. Also seems to be preoccupied posting about his so called "haters "

and these chip stacks are in an underground "home" game somewhere? i can take pics of chips in my house too! can i also be a poker "king"?

A lot of Borg/PA guys are into doing the whole Instagram poker star persona. As one would expect none of them are remotely close to the crusher status they present (based on my experience playing with them) so buyer beware with their ridiculous tournament mark up packages. The old adage of the loudest guy in the room being the weakest is no different in poker. Though like the poster above mentioned, anyone who falls for their schtick does kind of deserve to lose their money and it is a free country, so can't really stop them from selling themselves. It is what it is.

I will say, there is one Borg guy who does a lot of the IG boasting that is a pretty solid player and definitely is capable of beating the Borg 2/5 for a good clip, so they aren't ALL completely full of ****. But in general, always safe to take any poker/gambling claims with a massive grain of salt.

Anyone who falls for an act this transparent isn't up and coming anywhere including the sandwich artist training academy. There have always been idiots drawn to poker who don't have anything resembling the talent or makeup to make it... They are some of the best fish IME.

he made day 2 of borg main and supposedly gave everyone a free % sweat in the amount they bought of his vegas package. i cant wait to read the bad beat story and the hh when he posts it just to tell every person that critiques him that theyre a hater and to gfy

He doesn't seem to be a bad cash game player. But some of his posts make him look like a real tool and the fact that he likes taking pictures of other non-celeb poker players at his table is uncalled for as well. He also needs to learn the difference between blatant trolling and constructive criticism.

i played with 2/5 with nypokerking like 6 months ago and he was a massive nit that tankkkkkkkkkkkkkk 3b/called off KK vs me btn v co for 120bb. this is like the dream spot for most people but he looked horribly pained. i had AXs and unfortunately did not get there.

this is a pretty dream spot vs me. instagram grinders are pretty wack, though as mentioned there is EXACTLY ONE that crushes 2/5 at a very good clip and is possibly biggest winner in that game. good guy as well.

I think Nypokerking has a pretty entertaining instagram to follow. He typically plays cash so I don't think he's scamming anyone for the couple tournaments he does enter. Others may have their criticisms but I don't think he's a horrible player or someone out to rip people off. He also list himself as an "unprofessional" player and acknowledges that he's new to the tourney scene. Interesting to hear others thoughts though.

Adnan (nypokerking) slow rolled me once. It was pretty blatant. I.e. as pretty upset and when I asked him why he slow rolled me, he said it was because "he didn't respect my game". Then he went on to tell me to get on my crutches and hop away (I had a broken tibia at the time). I couldn't believe what he said to me, but I just left the table and let it go. As I was walking away, he shared me down and just laughed at me

A few hours later, i come back to the poker room and he's berating a dealer and has half the poker room looking at him. He was pretty drunk, but still. It was inappropriate.
