Variance is a bitch.

I just want to point out Rocco is still around policing the tables, unlike most of the other players mentioned.

hes also one of the few players ive seen who are good, but don't have an ego and wont play in bad games

yea....Dan. couldn't remember his name. also, theres a late 20's early 30's player that resembles ivey (atleast i think so). always buys in with big chips. everytime i play he seems solid.

Go into any casino in America w/ hi limit games every 5 years and 99% of the "pro" lineup will have changed. The old super tight/semi agg guys who "don't know how to play poker" are the only ones who last. Lol.

Lol @ Boris. I see him playing $1/2 nowadays, and I think he's getting staked for it.

Boris from Princeton?

Rich people that were slight winners and progressed to slight losers don't really disappear

ya, they just progress back to slight winners.

no rich person can survive in a legit (uncapped 5-10nl++) game as a loser. they all go broke. at BJ or Baccarat your a slight loser and, if they decide to live at the casino, they all go broke. If you see someone around, day after day, for years, they win. it might be less than minimum wage, but they win.

Spoiler:
could bill gates just sit at 5-10 for the rest of his life? yes. would he? no. its not how rich people work.

Spoiler:
"all" means 99%+. dont tell me about the one oil billionaire who plays horrible, started in 2005 and is still around at the 1-2nl games at winstar..lol...it just proves the point.

in the com 10-20+ there is exactly one (1) rich loser who still shows up multiple times a week from 5 years ago. there was two (2) a month ago but the other got into a massive argument at the cage when his credit was cut. The rest are once a month (at best). almost all have disappeared.

that doesnt mean hes not a winner. in fact it almost assuredly means he is a small winner. (sans drinking)
