reaction to 3bet with small pocket pairs

Hello!
When I play 6max cash, I always get into the same spot:
I have a small pocket pair (22-88) and I am the first raiser. Then someone 3bets me either from the button or SB.
What are the factors to consider to either call or fold in those spots?
-Pot odds are definitely one but what is a good price to take a flop?
-Stack size, I know the deeper the better
-Position?
Should I fold the smaller ones and take a flop with the bigger?
Brief, what are the elements that matter when making those decisions?
