Do they run those games commonly in vegas and are there still a decent amount of semi fish at the table? What are the games like? I want to hit up vegas some time and play in these games (I currently beat 1kNL online so what is the likelyhood that I beat these games live?) I play 300NL live where I live as it is the highest games running near me but it is quite boring playing with such lil sums of money. I would like to be able to play in these higher games at some point in my life (1-2 years down the road).

what places are good for high stakes action

Bellagio has 10/20 and 10/20/40 NL. Last time I was there they had three 10/20/40 NL tables running (10k would be a smaller stack in that game).

It cracks me up people talk about "fish" at these games. More often than not, they are the fish.

last yr there were 1-2 102040 games and 0-1 2550 games a day. no 50100.

re fish at 2550, the fish were generally plo players looking for action while they waited for plo.

only remember one genuine fish, he wanted to play 510 but couldnt get a seat so sat down with 10k at 2550. left with 30-40k an hour later n game broke

There has been at least 2 $10-$20-$40 games running this summer. There was also about a week straight that $25-$50 and $50-$100 ran this summer. All the games are at Bellagio.

Some days you can't get action, but if you give a lot of action and search for games constantly you should be able to put in decent volume, I do at least.
If you are a boring nit they are less likely to play higher with you.

there are enough good regs from online that play in vegas now that it would be hard to not get action at 50/100nl if you are willing to play some HU

The thing you've got to realize in Vegas is that the games form around the fish, so if the game isn't running there isn't a fish. Often times I'll sit down at a table with a known fish and try to get them to get a game started.

basically outside WSOP you're going to find it hard to get those games going.. it would almost be easier to get a 100/200 or 200/400 going than 25/50 for obv reasons.

right now though of course put your name up on the board at Rio and you should get a game going.. btw is it just me or are the cash games pretty bad this year compared to 2011? first week of june was great but last couple of weeks maybe im just running bad but have been sitting in nothing but games filled with TAGnits...
