We had 11 runners last year, and expect that number to grow this year. Payouts will be determined once we have a accurate number of players that will be entering, but here is an estimate:

Payouts based off 20 entries(last year we had 11)

34,000 in Prize Pool

Top 6 Teams make the playoffs
Weeks 15,16,17 Cumulative score for all 3 weeks

Payout options

Option 1 (more payouts and weight on the playoffs)
500 1st place, 250 second place Every week (17 * 750=12750)
500 to top team single week score for the season
6 Teams make playoff
1st 10k
2nd 6k
3rd 3k
4th 1750

Option 2 (more evenly paid out between reg season and playoffs)
1st =500 2nd =300 3rd=150 Every week (17*950= 16,150)
500 to top team single week score for the season (500)
6 Teams make the playoffs
1st = 10k
2nd = 5k
3rd = 2,350


I will be holding for this league, and have many refs if need be. Also am very active in MSNL sports thread.


In the event no line up is submitted at the time of the weeks first game (of players we choose from) you will receive 95% of the lowest score that week. Several reasons for this, 2 years ago we allowed those who missed the deadline to just choose from the remaining active games. This creates more work for the site and myself tracking down those who forgot. Also some seemed to do better picking from limited games. So thus if you miss the deadline 95% of the entrants lowest score will be awarded for the week. Therefor it will not eliminate you from the season total, which playoff berths are awarded on but it does eliminate you from winning that weeks high score.

Reasons to enter this instead of snake or auction style leagues:
- never stuck with the same bum all year long
- rewarded for great weeks with weekly payouts
- no collusion, with trades or free agency
- no internet vultures waiting for injury news and grabbing you 1st round picks backup
- interested all season long, as weekly payouts continue through week 17


Ask around I think you will find those who have played this format prefer it over other old school styles

Def option 1. No reason for excess transactions for 150 weekly 3rd. Doesn't matter much end of the day though.

Oh paying out weekly? I would have thought he would have kept track every week of who won what then we settled up at the end of the season using maths.

as much as I love DK for a lot of stuff, I think DD was great for this every year so far, their league system is just super nice and easy and iirc aren't the lineups slightly diff. between DD and DK (not sure if it's NBA thats diff. or NFL). We'll see, when DK did our 2k auction they had to do everything manual but if DD can't do it they are obv the best option to accommodate us

I will try to confirm this week if DD can accommodate us. If not I will look into both dk and fd.

Ok got a response from Draft Day and they in fact will have private leagues at 0 buy-ins again this year.

I think the majority have spoke on payment options, so for now I will say it is going to be option 1

Also if you know for sure you are joining, sending early may help keeping PayPal off my back. I will also most likely be firing up a handful of eBay auctions which also seems to keep them at bay if paying fees to them(they never seem to bite the hands that feed them).

it's easily 5-10x more fun than any year long league you'll join this year (and this is from someone who is joining lots of year long leagues this year)
