Now can someone explain briefly how this squares thing works?

Assume I'm not a HSNL reg? Will try to decide today then. Was hoping to see the bracket pool selection before deciding, but that doesn't seem likely.

The last bracket pools we ran had 250Kish in escrow. That seems impossible to do post-BF. (I'm in US)

Admo - If I'm going to split a two-square purchase with someone, do you prefer to deal with only one person (i.e., one guy buys 2 squares and we handle splitting it up between ourselves) or would you be fine taking purchases from both of us, knowing you're selling a 2 square package?

Almost positive bracket pool will be regs only and no escrow. No poker $ just bank/paypal for winners. If someone feels like escrowing for randos that's great but doubt anyone wants the headache.

This is honestly just the best way to minimize scamming based on various things that have happened last few years IMO.

We'll scramble the pool per this method, making adjustments as needed for a tournament instead of a single game.

Declare the two axis:
The higher seeded team (or "Favorites" by seed, not spread) are on the x-axis, which is the number line on the top.
The lower seeded team (or "Underdogs") are on the y-axis, which is the number line on the left side.


::: SCRAMBLE STEP 2 :::

Seed the list. I've seeded the list of 100 bets using an undisclosed method and sent it to a past escrow of this pool: aejones.


::: SCRAMBLE STEP 3 :::

Generate the Squares Number List that determines who gets which square based on the seed list.

Audience participation time. We need a volunteer to do these steps:

a. Go to the sequence generator at random.org
b. Enter in smallest value: 1
c. Enter in largest value: 100
d. Press the "Get Sequence" button
e. Copy and paste the generated list of 100 numbers in this thread

Volunteer must meet these criteria:

i. is not me or one of the pool escrows
ii. has a 2009 or earlier reg date
iii. has at least 500 posts

I'll quote the first post after mine that does this correctly and that will be the Squares Number list.
