With this few runners, people's brackets would look so identical that all the money would come down to like one or tow games

Essentially the same thing as a random draw, since there's no incentive to pick anything other than the most likely bracket for your non-random one
What about something like you draft teams minus UK and get points based on their point differential? So every time one of your team wins you get + that many points and if one of your teams loses you get - that many points? That way at least 2 of us are likely to have a sweat until the end, and possibly all 3. (i.e. you could be in 2nd with +50 points and someone with +55 and someone else with +40 are playing in the title game, so if the latter wins by 6 through 9 then the guy with +50 would end up winning)
Or like a calcutta, where we bid against each other and buy teams and then you get % of the total prizepool based on how far your team goes (we can seed the prizepool with $100 or $1000 each or something to incite action)
