I'm so excited for the summer tournament series! I'm playing 8 of the daily tournaments at the Rio, 6 of Caesar's Mega Stack Series events, the Ladies' events at Caesar's, Venetian and the WSOP. I'd link my staking package but I haven't yet been granted Marketplace access and I don't want to break any rules by linking my document here. Thanks to the pep talk some of your gals gave me in my other thread ( ) I'm coming out for a few days to play the Ladies event. That will probably be my only tourney, but I'll also spend some time grinding cash at the Aria or Bellagio.

I haven't bought a plane ticket yet, but I'll probably be out there mid-late June.

Planning to play a few of the WSOP $1000-$1500 donkaments and the ladies event. And probably the VDS event everyone's been talking about. If I'm lucky enough to make a super deep run in anything, maybe I'll even take a shot at the ME. During downtime, I can be found playing cash at Aria/Bellagio. I'm refusing to play cash at the WSOP because of their high rake and no comp policies.

If anyone plays with a somewhat unknown young Asian girl with seemingly OCD tendencies for straightening my chip stacks, it's probably me

Pretty great news - it's like 95% that I'll be playing the ME. I've already sold 33% (although there's still shares available for any who would like to invest in the dream, hinthint ), and have someone who offered to find one or more investors to cover at least up to 50% if I haven't sold that myself by the tournament.

So yeah, watch out WSOP ME, I'm going to be the first lady to make the FT since 1980something.

This also of course means that I'll be in Vegas for at least a couple days more than I originally planned - arriving on the 5th, leaving whenever I bust (or FT) the ME.

I'll probably say this in a couple of other forums as well, but I'm overwhelmed by the generosity of 2p2. I've had people offer to help find investors, comp a hotel, just completely awesome responses from people who I've never even met in real life. It's kind of humbling and awe-inspiring, IMO.

We very often focus on the negatives - the scams and the bad news - and it's easy to overlook that the poker world is in fact populated almost exclusively by decent, smart, generous people. The bad seeds are the minority, IMO.

congrats to those who sold their packages! It's exciting to see so many heading to WSOP.

I'm still on the fence about coming out; it's a bit late to put staking together and I'm not sure how much I want to invest in a foray. Last time I sold about 20% of my ME, and felt really bad about not cashing (I had KK cracked twice on day 1).

Hopefully I'll see most of you, if only to visit and play some side action.

Yep, try telling that to my parents. I'm tempted to drag my mom to the TWSS dinner, so I can prove to her that decent and nice people do in fact play poker.

Haha, my mom doesn't get my playing poker at all (and I don't for a living), plus she worries about my becoming obsessed/overinvolved (something my Dad used to do; I have a touch of it, but am cognizant of it and therefore able to control it), and yet when I explained what I was doing, she offered to buy 2% if needed.

They worry about us, but most Moms are happy as long as their kids are happy, no matter what they are doing.
