lol, thankfully I play better than I run! I was the cl for most of the EPT satty, but then donked off a big pot to a good player who trapped me with AA (so should have seen that coming! I finally adjusted and busted her later obv
), then lost another flip and was crippled. My advantage is that I play a lot of 6max hypers, so my shorthanded push/fold game is very strong. So I was able to come back from being like 5/5 or so to a decent stack without ever seeing a flop.
But even after that, with a medium stack, got it aipf twice with a dominating ace and chopped both times! The great thing about these satties tho is that I was freerolling when we were down to 7 (stars pays out 1 package, then the rest of the funds are split as a refund of your buyin - so you can be freerolling with like 50% of the field left!), so it offers some interesting strategy opportunities.

Uggghh, I know, seriously. I was really liking my chances at the FT. I have been running terribly in that event. Have straight up bubbled 3 of the last 4 times. It gets down to it and I just can't win a hand! Pat is decent, but yeah, he is not the best by any means, and I think that event is really great value.
I know, it sucks how many people are shut out now. Stars has such weak guarantees now on the mixed games and dont really support them at all. I'm missing the larger player base, even if my variance is probably significantly reduced.
